This may be unpopular but while I do love this film, I am sick to death of it getting all the merchandise, all the love between the Burton films.

I feel '89 is less of a great film and more of a great cultural phenomenon. So much 'muh nostalgia!!!!' and I'm kinda over '89 because of the oversaturation of it.

Definitely. I'd say it is regardless of the quality of movie, which I think is gonna be far better than what people are expecting.

Now that Keaton is back doing Batman again, if they ever get Tim Burton to direct an Elseworlds movie... it could be amazing if they used the same tech that Matt Reeves used on The Batman to give us a bigger version of that 89/Returns style Gotham.

Even though my heart wants a third and final Keaton Batman film - especially seeing how viable he still is in the role, knowing the film could feature a lot of flashback stuff - I'm still feeling very fortunate that we'll have The Flash (2023) as an unofficial third film in the Keaton Trilogy.

I shall count it. Because at least we're getting him back again and we'll find out just how he's been doing since.

Which, we needed that closure.

I really wonder how WB will respond if Keaton's Batman single-handedly makes The Flash (2023) a hit. We know it ain't Ezra Miller putting butts in seats. Affleck's Batman is too niche to move significant amounts.

Part of me hopes they'll go to Gunn and say "Hey, one and done Elseworlds Keaton Batman tale. Get on it."

It'd make its money back, I know that. And WB has done crazier things.

I'm willing to bet that WB wishes this was a Keaton solo film...seems to be their marketing.

I'd want Burton to produce and get someone else to direct. It worked wonders for Blade Runner 2049.

Instead of Keaton Batman Beyond i want Keaton Dark Knight Returns for a Third Movie in The Flash Trailer Keaton Batman Looks Like He Can Still Fight so his Batman can fit more in a Dark Knight Returns Story than a Batman Beyond Story in my opinion

Hot Toys looks great. But damn. Can Batman Returns get a re-release Hot Toys?

The '89 merch is an oversaturated market but this is an exception.
