    The Outsiders run into trouble while a recon mission for Batman at a European Space Administration site in North Africa! Meanwhile, tension within the group comes to a head as the Outsiders’ newest member challenges Batman for leadership!


    pretty hyped to see batgirl back in action. Didio is an ass for cancelling her book. btw who do you guys think challenges batman? i think its either Grace or batgirl.

    issue 3 came out, pretty solid issue. batman was badass as usual,putting kendra in some sorta grip hold. my favorite line was"the mistake is yours kendra,you should've sent superman" truely badass. i wish batgirl could've gotten more dialogue tho. If you like meltzers JLA(despite the ****ty pacing and storytelling) you'll definitely love this book.

    I like Kendra...she's a nutcase for charging into battle with people who outclass her power-wise by a ton. I guess that's why I like Grace, too.

    uhh this is Batman and The Outsiders.

    and don't *****ing bother with that **** again, when you're not even complaining about the 2-3 thor threads in the marvel section.

    Thor is inherently better than the Outsiders and thus deserves two threads. Plus, only one of the Thor threads is actually being used regularly anymore. :o

    It was ok. I was a bit disappointed that nothing whatsoever was mentioned in regards to the last page of Issue #2...Also; if they are going to advertise an Outsiders vs JLA fight, it would be cool if more than three 2nd rate JLAers show up....:whatever:

    However; as you mentioned, Bats owning Kendra was excellent, and Metamorpho shined as usual. Im definitely still onboard.

    BTW; my guess for challenger of Batman's leadership is Batgirl as well...

    I think it'll be Green Arrow. Ollie comes off as a person who wouldn't want to be following Batman's orders.

    Also, they say the Outsiders newest member. Green Arrow will be newer than Batgirl is. That or Guy Gardner joins the Outsiders in issue 5 and Batman takes him down in one punch again.

    Yeah, Guy would be good with the Outsiders. He's off being a "fixer" for the whole universe right now, though, which I much prefer to see. Give Earth a good name out in the universe at large to counter all the damage Hal did to Earthlings' reputation.

    I think Ollie will be the one to challenge Bats' leadership. Batgirl has never challenged Batman for anything, and she hardly even considers herself a leader. Ollie, on the other hand, is brash and just came off of leading a whole city. He's also stupid enough to think he can do a better job than the goddamn Batman.

    I really wish Dixon weren't putting Geo-Force and Ollie on the team in the first place, though. They're terrible characters. :(

    Ollie isn't a terrible character when written by good people. Dixon is more than qualified to write a great Ollie - although I admit I would love to see him write Connor more.

    Guy isn't exactly stealthy for the Outsiders. He'd charge into everything and break it before they could get anything done.
