Why on earth would he put that there? :hehe:

And why are there so many suits displayed in that fashion? To scare away burglars?

And what was so special about that suit, that he has to push the others away? :hehe: Especially since it seems like they're all the same. Other than the fact that Burton just does it so the fans can see the bat symbol on the chest.

I think one of my friends wondered about the same thing when we were kids. I don't remember my answer, but maybe he suffers from OCD?

I always loved the Bat symbols on the boots. It was a nice little touch.

Yes, me too. It's cute:woot: I wonder what his underpants look like.

:hehe: maybe, but i guarantee that it wasn't the reason for that scene. Just that Tim Burton needed to show the suit and bat-logo to the audience.

Cute when Burton does it. Campy when Schumacher does it.

Are you sure? My theory would explain a lot...take the scene at the beginning, when he's just sitting in the chair. He's probably worrying about all the bacteria in Alfred's sandwiches.

Bruce Wayne: "Did he wash his hands before he made them? I think I heard him sneeze. Did he sneeze? What if I get sick and die? Oh, thank God, there's the signal!"

And what about the iron maiden-scene? For some reason, he's afraid of stairs.

Joking. I hope I didn't offend any ocd-sufferers here. I have ocd myself.

Anyway, I think Batman Returns is great. I love how surreal it is...I wish more comic book movies could be like that. Like something out of a fairy tale.

My mother didn't like it, though. "This is the last Batman movie you'll ever see!:cmad:"

Haha yeah it's a good theory.

You got me laughing out loud with your description. Keatons Batman was like a paranoid, ocd weirdo. Afraid of stairs ahah soooo true.

I love the fairytale look Returns even though it's not how i see Gotham. It fascinated me when i was a child. But i still think the movie is one of the more stupid flicks ive ever seen in my life.

Cute when Burton does it. Campy when Schumacher does it.

I think the "suit up"-scene at the beginning of Batman and Robin is pretty good, except for the butts...darn it, Schumacher! We don't want to see Batman's ass!:csad: imagine if Indiana Jones ran around showing his buttcrack.

Have you seen Grown Ups 2?

Dat Bat ass.

Well, they've been doing that with women for years, and there's rarely any blacklash. :oldrazz:

I'll tell you the last time I really cried was at the premiere of Iron Man 3 :o

Which means "dogs**t" in my world.

Your world is realy weird. I'm tired of seeing films trying to do the same as The Dark Knight, it was good to see a twist on that idea of the "ultimate villain", it's a blockbuster film that took chances and was a little different from the norm, something i also aplaud in the film from this thread Batman Returns.

you should applaud it in the batman forever thread, since Killian's arc is basically the same as Nygma's arc...

Yet there are so many other better things in that film to point to besides that one element, i could also care less if it was a similar arc or not, the film itself was better handled and unlike Nygma, he wasn't exactly looking for revenge, Tony just ended up caught in the middle. Either way we're just going off topic, for more help try the confused matthew review of Iron Man 3, i usualy dislike his reviews but his for IM Three was spot-on.
