Tyger Tyger is one of my favorite episodes. It's like Batman meets the island of Dr. Moureau. Emile Dorian was one of the sickest villains of the show the way he mutated all those animals.

I was aching to watch this show again after revisiting Mask of the Phantasm and Subzero, so I bought the first season on Amazon Instant Video for $20. It's a solid deal considering the fact that the physical copy is still $40 at my local FYE (two Best Buys near my area didn't even have the series available anymore).

[Elevator Man]

I was always a fan of the "Tyger, Tyger" ep. It was a change of pace from Batman's usual adventures in Gotham on the show. It also seems inspired by some of the batman comics in 70s. And the animation is indeed stunning. I also found the ending somewhat tragic when Tygress gives Selena the antidote (which she believed was destroyed in the fire) and tells her that there's nothing for him anywhere. The little bit of backstory between Dorian and Langstrom was interesting.
