I love this lol.

I really dislike Strong's Harley Quinn... and that video only reinforces that.

I like Tara Strong's Harley sure she's no Arleen Sorkin (sp?) but I like it enough.

Check out what LLLR is releasing next week, finally.

:awesome:

How come?

I simply find it to be a pale, whiny imitation of Arleen Sorkin's voice. But rather than being cute and wacky like Sorkin, it's merely irritating.

Hynden Walch is a much better replacement.

I will admit there was a couple of times in AC where the voice sounded 'off' like a bad imitation. The worst example being when she says "No problem sweetie" to the Joker when he's talking over the intercom system just outside the GCPD when you're breaking in to do the Mr. Freeze boss fight.

But overall I like her interpretation, and honestly I've a lot of people say they had no idea it wasn't the same voice actress when they played AC. Now I could spot the difference easily, but I still like it.

Walch is better though. Sorkin is of course the best.

Posted in a Batman group I frequent, the OP claimed it was an early sketch for TAS but I have my doubts on it.

In honor of The CW's new Flash series, I recently re-watched The original Flash series from the 1990's. and to my surprise I was delighted to see Mark Hamill as The Trickster, I forgot his role in the series. Anyhow it's remarkable that he ends up later becoming the definitive voice of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992.

I was also amazed to discover that both Danny Elfaman & Shirley Walker were involved in series. Danny created the Heroic main title theme for The Flash that is obviously very Batman 89 inspired. Shirley did the composing work for the series run.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 90s Flash tv show was somewhat of an inspiration for B:TAS. Harley Quinn even seems to borrow certain traits of the Trickster's sidekick Prank.

Also Blake Neely's inferior score to the 2014 Pilot doesn't even hold a candle to Walker's far superior score to the 1990 Pilot, which always left a huge impression after each viewing.

Back on topic looking at Kane's gifs from "Harley and Ivy" I wonder how Batman survived that swim in that toxic waste dump without any protection? I hope it's not the typical "b/c he's batman excuse!"

OMG I hope if they ever do a blu-ray edition for Mask Of The Phantasm they included this featurette

HBO special Batman - Behind The Mask - Making of Mask Of The Phantasm

Re-watching the series again after more than a decade, I've realized something important.

Paul Dini is a master. Heart of Ice, House and Garden, Almost Got Im, Mad Love, Baby Doll etc...it's ridiculous how good he is.
