Yeah. Pedraza just started fighting a way he apparently hasn't ever, against a much shorter fighter. A distance fighter willingly fighting in a phone booth. Then everyone calling the fight started wondering why after. When asked in the ring he said what he didn't wasn't the game plan but it felt right.

Its... strange.

Ah I see, I'd never seen either of them fight before so I wouldn't know. Davis had a good KO record and seemed to hit hard so I presumed Pedraza was trying to stay tight in early rounds to get him to burn some power away.. especially after Davis tagged him with a few hard uppercut's.

That was a excellent fight & to be honest I think a draw was probably a fair result.

Floyd's talking out of his ass though, the judging nor result, on this one occasion, wasn't bad IMO. It was just a dead close fight with both fighters having moments.

Even though I scored it a draw, if I would edge it to anyone it would be Jack; I like it when a fighter finishes strong. Ironically, that's why I'm not overly sympathetic with the albeit bad decision against Bute (when you coast in the last few rounds, you're asking for something like that to happen; just ask Oscar).

In this fight, he looked much sharper than Degale by the end and even scored the knockdown that ultimately evened the cards.

A complete clown, that's what Angel is and always was. That being said, all the tough talk in the world can't fight for his son, and Danny's probably gonna have his hands full. He should've lost twice by now as it is, IMO, so I never knew what the cockiness was about. He's gonna have to be much better, and I'm not so sure he can be...

I don't know man. I wouldn't count Garcia out. Real talk, I got him winning this and I couldn't tell you why. Maybe he fights to the level of his competition but everyone saying Thurman knocks him out...................I just don't see it happening.

Are we really surprised by what Danny's father said? This is par for the course when talking about Angel; It's pretty common knowledge that he's a dirtbag. Khan and Matthysse can attest to this.

Even when I was a fan of DSG I never liked Angel. In one interview Thurman talked about this being another father-son team, but Angel is worse than Ruben Guerrero and Kenny Porter combined.

Anyway, two really good cards; unfortunately both are tonight at the same time. Good job boxing.

I've got Frampton winning the rematch and Mikey escaping a very tough fight with a win. I've also got Berchelt's power to take advantage of a shopworn Vargas, and a relatively easy win for Miura.
