deniro as perry would be an enormous box office draw, though personally I think keaton would be more entertaining

I'm really hoping we get lex or zod's casting next sunday lol. Or sooner. Sooner's good too.

I think DeNiro as Perry is within the realm of possibility. He doesn't seem to be the kind of actor who feels like comic book movies are beneath him.

I just imagined DeNiro screaming for Jimmy. ****, now I REALLY hope they try to get him as Perry.

Eh, DeNiro has fallen way off and become a parody of himself. Even though Perry is just a minor role, I'd rather get someone who can inject the type of humor and warmth that isn't associated with a particular name/face.

Or Phillip Seymour Hoffman?

I realize Hoffman is a bit young, but the guy is a chameleon and I bet with some make up to age him a bit (NOT prosthetics) he'd be good.

Beau seems timid for the role imo. Hoffman kind of has an arrogant somewhat nasally voice that doesn't work for Perry.

The great thing about Perry and Jimmy too, lot's of actors could work imo. I don't think we should be worried about these parts. I just hope they knock it out the park with Lex.

Completely agreed. Perry and Jimmy are characters that have an essence or energy, but as far as their 'look' it's not so set in stone. And to some extent even that 'energy' can have different interpretations.

I really hope whoever they cast for each of the roles has great chemistry with each other as well though
