De Niro would make an awesome Perry White, I could totally see it with the way casting seems to be going

Sweet I was the first to suggest Deniro for White I thought you guys would yell at me that he is too big an actor. Same thing with Pitt for Luthor, I was first to choose him too and I thought "oh here it comes I am getting slammed" but you guys are pretty open to some of the big name actors. Glad you like my choices.

Dan Lauria is still my ideal choice for Perry. He has the look, the attitude, everything. Watching him as Vince Lombardi in those clips on NFLN leading up to the Super Bowl pretty much confirmed it for me. And while some of the other names mentioned would also rock, you could get away with paying Lauria a lot less than a guy like De Niro or even someone like Hugh Laurie.

Bumping an old post, I know Quaid can't be Jonathan since Costner was cast btw.

I'd love john goodman as Perry,
Eric Bana or Mortensen as Zod,
Isaacs as Lex,
and DDL as Jor-el.

Although, mortensen would make an excellent Lex, same with DDL.

He'd also be good for Turpin but I think he's a little too old now. My personal favorite for Turpin would be Dean Norris (Breaking Bad). It's typecasting, but so the hell what. Hank Schrader pretty much IS Dan Turpin.

I much prefer some of the other suggestions I've seen on here, particularly alec baldwin and michael keaton. Keaton would just be hilarious.
