I like your choices for Lara and Jimmy, but we can all thank our lucky stars that you aren't casting Lois Lane. IMO, the worst propositions I have ever seen for the role.

Same here. Alba is probably the worst mainstream actress out there right now, and that's saying a lot. She is the definition of an actress who gets cast simply because of the way she looks. I honestly can't even think of a single MOMENT in a movie that made me think Alba had the slightest bit of talent.

Lindsay Lohan is way better actress than Jessica Alba. Lohan has some decent films to her credit, most of Alba's performances are unwatchable.

was watching a biography on clive owen and they were talking about how he prefers to play his characters as the strong, silent type. he actually asked to have some of his lines cut, and prefers to convey his characters with his face... i don't really see lex luthor as giving people the silent treatment.

I dunno, Lex Luthor isn't exactly a motor mouth IMO.

He picks his words very carefully. And most of what he says in public is a lie... how do you know? Because as soon as he is alone, you can tell by his face. The way it drops from it's facade into his natural coldness.

I think you have to look at what he said there properly. He didn't say he wanted his characters to never speak. He is just saying that as an actor, he prefers being able to portray a character without unneccesary dialogue.

I can see plenty of things with Lex, that would work with no dialogue at all. For instance, just have a scene were he is watching news clips of Superman, in a room on his own, just staring at them, obsessing. Maybe have the camera closing in on his face, and all the mixed expressions that could fall there as he is watching.

I LOVE her in Dark Angel. Was a fan of the show before Alba went mainstream, and I can't believe how little effort she puts into acting in films, when she DOES have the capability to pull of performances that aren't bland and sickly.

If this is accurate, it sounds to me like his girlfriend is/was a maniac. For all we know his actions could have been if not justified, then at least understandable.

I've never watched Dark Angel, but I've heard other people say the same thing. Probably one of those cases of someone thinking, "F**k it... I made it. I don't need to try anymore." And well, if you're Marlon Brando, giving 10% is better than most actors out there. But when you're Jessica Alba, you just come off like a really pretty mannequin.

Out of the countless rom-coms she did, she finally did Nine. Doesn't excuse for her poor, poor choices UNLESS you just like rom-coms. I'm not hating on rom-coms but like 3 out of 5 will be bad. Out of her rom-coms, maybe a few are good while the others are just..the same movie again and again.

That movie was really good. At least for me I think Hudson did an amazing job in that movie.
