Ed Harris or Hugh Laurie as Perry White FTW!
I doubt that was the reason, since Welker and Cullen are back for the third along with Adler. It is odd he turned it down though because he specifically requested they insert Shockwave into Transformers Animated because he so badly wanted to reprise the role.He turned down Shockwave now did he? At least somebody knows how bad the films are I suppose. And yes I wouldn't mind his voice for Brainiac, but chances are they'll cast a more recognisable actor which these studios do.![]()
I love Hugh Laurie, but I get the feeling his Perry would just be House in a different setting.

This is pretty much why I don't want him for Perry or any other comic character role at the moment.Same here. His Street Kings character was pretty much House as a sleazy cop.
I still want Edward James Olmos.
If not for Perry, then Dan Turpin.![]()

Well if he was Megatron I doubt he'd be Soundwave too since Cullen tested for both Ironhide and Prime, and was only asked to do one since they wanted to clearly be able to distinguish the voices (not that Prime and Ironhide sound similiar, but that makes good sense). To tie this back into Superman, I honestly think voice casting Brainiac is the way to go. As a person, I always thought he looked insanely stupid, and the more recent incarnations of him (such as the toon version, and the 'Terminator' version) make much more sense to me.Welker is back too huh? Oh that's right he was Soundwave wasn't he? A shame he can't be Megatron either!!!![]()
