I agree. Gallner has a unique presence (unlike most actors in his age group). It would be good to see him in a high-profile project like this instead of being constantly relegated to crappy horror movies.

His portrayal as Bart/Impulse in SV may hamper that from happening.

I know Jor El has been cast now, but I always thought Bill Campbell (from Rocketeer and 4400) with a beard had a great Jor-El look.

At 6"3, he actually would have made a good potential Superman actor when he was younger.

Does anyone else think it's a bit strange, that while we are all kind of assuming the scenes in Smallville are origin scenes following the tornadoes in both For all Seasons and Secret Origin... Lana Lang has yet to be announced?

I mean, I could live without her in the film... kind of never been keen on her as a character.

But I do think it's weird.
