The title pretty much sums it all up. Since we had multiple threads for each character, casting for said characters, and other ideas tossed around within these threads, I thought we could bring costumes to one place.

Put up pictures, descriptions, or ideas of what you want or what you could see your beloved characters wearing in Nolan's (hopefully) next Batman film, both good and evil.

*Please* let's try to keep this from degenerating into an argument about why whose ideas suck, as well as from who should (in your minds) be playing which characters in the upcoming films.

I'll start off:

Catwoman: Everyone speaks about bringing Batman back to his comic origins with a light-grey suit and black accessories... So I'd kind of like to see Catwoman in her older purple suit (albeit a darker purple that almost looks black).

Also, I kind of like the look that she commonly has in comics- her hair flowing out of the back.

I'm hoping they portray Catwoman as an arrogant type- someone who knows that the cops KNOW its her, but that they can't pin it on her, and I'd like to see it reflected in her suit (showing the hair, a little skin, something).

Similar to this, just a lot darker, and more high-tech (maybe a backpack with gadgets and tools in it, or with armored pieces on, something?):

Perhaps closer to this:

Minus the blue hair, obviously.

FINALLY someone made this thread!
Anyways, I'm a fan of the exposed hair, but I doubt it would happen.

To keep with my other versions of the suit I would like to see, heres my most recent manip with a little bit of purple. A nod to the old suit.

Thats a good manip, but I honestly dont like the look. I like Cate though. I say look at the amazing, JMC's Catwoman manip. It's not sexy enough, but the costume is awesome.

Whats wrong with it? Its efficient, its sleek and sexy.
I lvoe JMC's, but its way too bulky for my tastes. It loses sex appeal.
And she definetly needs claws.

Honestly, I'd kind of like a dress like this:

for Poison Ivy.

Any thoughts?

This is still the best and easiest look for Catwoman to me --

Something tells me Nolan would go for practicality over sexiness.

that action figure of Catwoman isn't that great. The mask or more like helmet is quite chunky. And they could know who she was if she had her hair out because if fighting or jumping on rooftop a hair could fall and they could get information of her from that hair or not ?

I'll change the subject to the riddler. The riddler should just have a normal suit in black with a green tie ( kind of like the spirit but not all black).

No The Riddler should have a Green suit or at least a Green blazer/Top and black trousers...

That's the best one I've seen. I would like her costume to be more homemade looking than that but I like it. No super stitches like in Batman Returns though.

He needs a cane but not a flamboyant cane. I would like no face mask or cover as well. I would still love the top hat but just a hat similar would be fine.

Well, I meant more for the suit. I don't like the chunky helmet either.

Yes, you can get DNA from hair that falls and with it, you can identify people.

I wouldn't mind a bit of skin showing either, something like this:

It's got everything any other suit has except for covering over the cleavage. With a rack like that, Bruce could spot her from a mile away. :p

And for Ivy, I meant a dress like this (since the picture didn't show up):

What do you think of this look for Riddler (except with maybe a green tie or shirt, or even the suit itself)?

zoot suits can certainly be cool. BUT it depends on the interpretation of Riddler. If he's portayed in any way meek or a professional then no.

Does anyone know how Black Mask could look while keeping a skull-like face for a mask? I keep thinking of ways not too far-fetched, but all results in some type of story prob too long to tell in a final movie that should focus on Bruce/Batman, or some ideas that are like "why would he wear that" type ideas.

Here is a manip I did, facepaint or mask, you decide:

nice i prefer mask though and it suposed to be wood
as far as why have the guys origin be part of the film, kinda like harveys story, but shorter for sionis,
i like an italian suit brown light orange stripes black tie and shirt and optional fedora

riddler, green suit, black tie, gold "hook" can, those ones with a hook-esque look to them

pioson ivy, she can dress in those dresses and shirts and normal clothing tha have flowers embriodered on them and with atleast green high lights

and aside from the amount of skin showing that statue has what i think of when i think nolanverse selina

While this probably defeats the purpose to most people, I think I'd prefer the term and name Black Mask to be more of a metaphor than anything else. The idea of him actually wearing a black, skull mask and giving orders to tough guys just seems silly to me. I'm not opposed to be proven wrong, but off the top of my head it just seems hokey. Especially when talking underneath it.

I'm sure others can compare that to Batman and what he wears, the Joker and his make-up, but for some reason this just seems a bit... different. Believe me, I can't really explain it.

However, if one was going to be designed, I'd prefer it to look similar to something like this --

Uploading my old manip cause I'm a ****e:

And don't get pissed off if this doesn't match up with your "vision". It's just a fan manip.

i feel like, in a way, after everything that happened in the dark knight..the joker opened the nolanverse gotham up for all sorts of crazy thugs/villains to come out and be just as theatrical or even more :)

and i love the idea of catwoman with both clevage and hair out...what does it matter if they find her hair if selina kyle never had a sample taken/ had a record ??!?!?

Perhaps, but with Roman Sionis/Black Mask, I'm not sure I wouldn't see it as somewhat silly. A crime boss wearing a black, skull mask just seems silly as compared to what can be done with other villains. Not that I wouldn't want to see the character on film, but perhaps tweaked here and there. With him, I see him as more visual because of the mask. There's nothing I've read him in that shows any outstanding mannerisms that makes him stand out from any normal gangster aside from the fact that he's a little crazier and happens to wear a mask. But, of course, I could be wrong or proven as such.

As I've mentioned before, I think Selina Kyle/Catwoman's current look in the comic-verse is easily and best translated to film. It doesn't have to be a shiny material, though. Aside from adding a place here or there, or perhaps some sort of backpack, to carry things, I think it looks absolutely perfect. Though I know some people don't like them, I very much like the look of the goggles and am in favor of it being possible to use that for either night-vision or infra-red, also. Not as gadget-laden as Batman, but it doesn't mean she can't have a few of her own. She's a professional, of course.

When it comes to Edward Nashton/Nigma as The Riddler, I'm not a fan of the idea of him being dressed in a green suit. Unless it happens to be very, very dark to where only sometimes you see it as green. I'm not even sure it's necessary he be wearing green or have a bowler hat or even a cane. I'd prefer his character to be more psychological and mysterious than actually visual, where The Joker was both. There was a great fan poster made awhile back that I prefer his character be based.

Kudos to whoever made it --

Showing a bit of cleavage.... HELL YEAH!

Actually talking about finding identities why could the not know joker's real name ? They had hair and fingermarks on some objects that he touched without gloves.

I can't see the image for Ivy :(

The riddler should be clean cut nice and clean not k like the joker. The riddler's costume should have a small question mark somewhere ( a tie pin or something..) and maybe a cane but not a really ornamented one.

First off, here's the pic for Ivy that won't freakin' post:

Second, they couldn't get The Joker's identity off of his DNA because he had no previous DNA or known whereabouts. The Joker, for the characters in the events brought on in TDK, came out of nowhere. He's so well hidden under the make-up that nobody knows who he might have been before, so they don't know where to start looking. In that case, his past identity has pretty much been lost... As of TDK, he had no other identity.

Selina would be easier to find considering she would likely have more recognizable features should the next movie stick closer to the comics (flowing black hair, incredible body, huge breasticles, etc.). Bruce would likely find out who she is pretty quickly, and be able to identify her through means of DNA tests.

In that regard, I would like to see Selina arrogant enough to be in that mindset of, "Even if you know it was me, you still could never catch me,"- hence the exposed cleavage, flowing hair, etc.
