I think it shows that they lack the faith and knowledge about Superman. If they had any faith in him, a reboot or sequel would have already been anounced.

Just look at the other films scheduled. Spidey 4 for 2011, TF 3 has been announced for 2011 even before TF 2 comes out. Now thats faith in your property right there.

Well i was more talking about comics world then movies. But yea they just seem to not know what the heck to do with movies now since SR. I wish it wasnt so hard for wb/dc to get these dc films out there already and compete more with marvel's heavy hitters and all that.

Yeah, I'm still surprised they actually green lit Green Lantern. Now if only they could pull their heads out from the where the sun don't shine and get Flash, WW, and another Superman going, already.

I still wonder how the summit thing went. IMO, if it went over pretty good, then it was a PR mistake to not leak out some info about it. At the least it would have created some buzz. Positive buzz or not I can't say, but buzz never the less.

he would definitely give us a action packed Superman movie that we've never seen before tho. the story may lack a bit, but i would take Synder over Singer any day

I'd love it, I really think Superman needs to go into a new direction. With all the popular Superhero movies recently, the general public is gonna want to see more action and less talk. I don't know about Snyder in particular, I guess he'd be good. But, somebody needs to start over with Superman and I guess Snyder has the popularity and skills it takes to do that so...I wish he would do it.

Wow, this is a tough one...I'd probably have to go with Peter Jackson though.

Peter Jackson would be awesome. He'd also have a design of Metropolis all modelled up and key locations built up like how he had 1933 NYC built up for King Kong. Cameras rolling around the model structures etc.

Yeah thats the main reason I thought he'd be best, I really think they should make it the 1930s-like superman, and Jackson did a great job delivering that in King Kong. Also, I think they should use the camera views/angles and lighting/shadowing like they did in the Fleischer cartoons. They were amazing and I think if they made a new superman in the tone of Sky Captain and the World of Tomarrow it would be simply amazing. Know what I mean? Like that vintage very good lighting look.

Well if all wb wanted for a big action film bay would be perfect for that. But i would like them to find someone who has the right balance between action, and drama and who could tell a good story.
