Ya i think Wachowski's directing will be awesome, but maybe having Geoff write teh script would be a good compliment to them. I just dont want any metrosexuals writing the next superman like SR

They were homosexuals, not metrosexuals, but I agree with your point, lets get a real SuperMAN. I can't fault them too much, they did write X2 but they did write an overly sensitive and boring script. On Larry King, Singer said he wanted "girls to see it," in regards to Superman Returns. His whole direction was wrong. The fact that one of his goals was to get girls to go to a comic book movie just speaks volumes.

Thank god. Just get someone who can tell a good story than just someone who love to use mindless CGI & everything like the W. Brothers.

I don't think the writers are gay. People just tend to keep saying all kind of crap like that. Just because Singer is gay doesn't mean the writers are too. Until there is evidence they are, Harris & Dougherty are not gay.

I wouldn't mind the W Bro's directing...buuuuuuut I'd much rather prefer it if Geoff Johns or Mark Millar wrote it. I believe in this new breed of comic book writers with affinities for movies. They write some of the most engaging and fantastic stories never read by the average movie going crowd.

I think the Wachowskis directing a script written by Millar or Johns would be absolutely fantastic. At least I'm sure they'd get the costume right.

yea i hate when we know about these films but they just cant get things moving at a better pace and we are stuck waiting and waiting years for it to go down. I do agree it would be great if they got some dc writers to do the script or to be tapped on as help/polish script-have some good input to the director and all that.

I can't comment on Johns as I don't think I've read any of his stuff, at least not with knowledge it was him, but Millar is great and he writes very cinematic tales.

I've never been a big fan on beating up on people for being *gasp!* "different?!?"

This coming from a 6 foot tall Irish/Italian heterosexual male (i.e. assuming anyone actually cared to know) whose never had to be subject to ridicule like that.

We need Watchmen to perform well, which I think it will. If it does, it's two straight hits for WB comic book movies. They'd be dumb as balls not to push Superman through.
