The Official Colossus/Daniel Cudmore thread

Wolverine got turned into a little girl.

Colossus unleashed all his fury.

And then...you know. :o He became the victim of his own rage.

Lots of action in this issue. The Hellfire Club attacks the X-mansion directly.

So Emma Frost has been playing the xmen all along? *****

Well, actually, she seemed to be having second thoughts. I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet.

I want Colossus to be drawn a bit differently than how he is currently drawn in AXM. He seems to be shorter and stockier than he should. I've always imagined him a 6'6 and muscular kinda like a Linebacker..(Im a football fanatic) instead he seems like a beefy full back.....yes bad analogies.

"I'm the best there is at what I do, and what I do is....*turn page* so terribley pretty!"

*picture Wolverine on the ground playing*

I.Love.You.Whedon.

This was posted in another thread but I felt it fit better here.

An ode to Colossus:

"O ye bearer of movie stars.
Give flight to yon fellow.
Lift him aloft with metallic fury unmatched
before the foundations of the earth.

Run. Run I say.

Emerge, steel-clad giant.
Shake thyself as at other times.
Wrest the rust from thy shoulders.
Give flight yet again.
Cast thy superior cast member vainly at his foe.

Run. Run again I say.
Hide thy unbreakable girth
so as not to soil thy garments"

lol yeah colossus...how do you guys think he could have better been incorporated into the movie? (in terms of developing his character and storyline) I thought his role in X2 was gonna sort of allude to bigger things in X3.

Yeah... that crazy Colossus.

Heh... how bout that guy, huh?

He's a strong one.

I thought that instead of having Wolverine get his ass kicked for however many minutes it was by Juggernaut; they should have had Colossus and Juggernaut going at it (causing some property damage that would have strained the X-men's P.R.). Totally wasted opportunity to give Colossus some much deserved screen time!

^ very true. That one line was just funny tho, you cuold tell they just stuck it in there just to be able to say they tossed him a line and gave him like 2 seconds more screentime.

I mean, even in X2 helping out when the mansion was invaded, he proved that he was ready to step it up...he's definitely capable of fighting and he shows he's protective of the kids and has some leadership skills there too. The danger room sequence was a letdown i think, colossus the minor sidekick lol.

^like your avatar, btw. but yeah agreed...he didnt even necessarily hafta have the whole russian background (they modified a lot of characters for the movie soo), but at least seem less dense than he did in the movies. THat mite have been because we hardly saw him onscreen but anyways...lol

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After seeing what an incredible job they did with characters, plot, effects, and pretty much everything in Superman Returns...
well I just hate X3 that much more. Oh what it could have been.

Yeah I loved Superman too, though the action was a little slow, it was great film.

I didn't find it slow at all, and the action/flying scenes were ....

Colossus could take him in a sec though. ;)
