from what I see... he did the very exact opposite that Singer did.

Even before anyone says it, yes, I'll wait for the final product on the screen before I make the FINAL judgement, but so far...that's the most hideously hue of blue. Superman needs to be light blue, for gods sake.

PS. Surely, this confirms that there are in fact no trunks? It's a plastic-y blue thing on the thigh and hip, a golden line wrapping aroung him to a gold or silver buckle.

The belt seems to be much more than a simple waistband. I can barely make out a multi-stringed design that meets in the center. Sorta like this, but more complicated:

the color of the shade of blue... that is what's really disappointing me right now. It's the exact opposite of the SR suit:

the SR suit had a vibrant blue, but a very dark red.
this suit has a vibrant red, but a very dark blue.

it's an extreme color opposite... and i dont like it.
just going the extreme opposite of Superman Returns doesn't make it a successful color scheme.

i like a dark blue, but nothing near that dark

the red is fine... but the blue isnt.
i dont even consider that blue... i see that as black with blue highlights. that's how dark that hue is.

im looking at his shoulder, where the sun hits... it's like a blackish navy blue, or black with blue highlights...

well, he wanted a "darker" Superman...
im slightly disgusted by it

agree. it just doesn't seem right at the moment.

Wow glad you can make out more than me because it's hard to make sense of it. If the trunk area is supposed to be the same colour as the rest of the blue (as many claim) how come his legs torso look completely different to that area? It can't be the light hitting that (trunk) area differently as there doesn't seem to be any spill from the light on the legs at all. The light seems focused on that one spot. I'm starting to suspect these pictures are staged. if not how come the guy didn't get better shots of that area? He was obviously there for a while as we have Superman with his back to the camera and a couple of front/side shots. It must have taken a few minutes for all of this to transpire.
