I believe it's from a magazine cover, but seeing the spy pics, we know the colors aren't quite that vibrant, but they aren't nearly as dull as in the official pic either.

Its just so hard to tell without official pix. They're gonna want to market this to some kids, I mean, its superman, so i'm sure we will get some nice bright images soon enough...

It's from SFX magazine. WB either gave them an updated color corrected version or they did it themselves. It's probably the former though.

That's why color correction/color filters exist. The suit won't look exactly as it does from the set pics we have. Knowing Snyder he'll play around with the color and hopefully it'll be exactly like the ones from the SFX magazine.

I agree somewhat. I don't like the tone of blue.

I guess the scanner needs a calibration, because the blue is alomost purple.

Thanks for the images craigdbfan, but those colours are even worse. Looks like the suit is made of plastic (you know like those Barbie-ish (but not Barbies) dolls... Worse than the set photos.

take a look at this pic again.

"Sunlight" on the suit shows colors much closer to the corrected colors in the promo shot. This is what I have based my manip colors on.

The purple is just an aberration...

I have been mentioning this Pic to Matt, the guy making my Statue of Cavill for me, I love this color with the red, it makes everything POP! It's like a Navy Blue.


That is the genius of this suit, it's very matalic to a sence that it has mutiple colors interacting with one another that change the look of the suit depending on the lighting conditions, the costume is truly the work of a genius!


The guy (Matt) who is working on my Statue compared it to M3 material, in which he mixed up a paint Job that is just sick to look at, the colors of the Statue's blue changes as it rotates! The movie costume is gonna make a very interesting screen presence, I can't wait to see the freakin trailer already!

I totally agree and I've been thinking of this myself lately. These two pics are a good demonstration of this as well:

The suit seems to be made so that is very responsive to lightning changes and such. And with Zack Snyder at the helm I simply cannot wait to see the results on screen. I think it's going to look stunning. But then again I already love the entire design of the costume it's both classic/modern/unique and alien all at the same time. And it just screams Superman. Trailer can't come soon enough!

Well the first Pic where he is being covered up he is sitting on a stool, and the last 2 posted not sure how you find him short in those, looks quite tall enough to me!

Not only does he look tall here, but buff as-well...



Henry's taller then everyone of these guys, and they all have work boots on, Henry's shoeless!




Kellan Lutz is listed at 6'1" (right), Henry's a good inch or 2 taller.

I adore the top half of the suit. It's great. The boots are pretty spectacular, too. It's that whole crotch/belt area that doesn't sit well with me.

Cavill is maybe 5'-10". Heck Stallone was listed as 6'-"1 for the longest time!

We all know that Woody Allen is documented at 3'-6"... tops! so there ya go...

He is obviously not "tall" but maybe a tall average... which is good enough and will help us believe he can "hide" among us better than a 6'-4" guy could disguise himself anyway.

No way man, this isn't Wrestling where they exaggerate Height all crazy! He is either 1 inch shorter or over IMO.


My guess is this Girl is around 5'2", Amy Adam's is listed at 5'4", Henry is gonna tower over Amy!

He doesn't have a small head which might make him look shorter when he's standing by himself, but I think he has enough body awareness and presence to be very Super in the movie, especially with lighting, angles, editing etc

as long as he can shoot lightning from his Super S Shield and use other associated special powers devised in the archives of Superman II then I'll be happy... after all this is the direct remake of that film with Zod teh puffy in it
