I dont accept this "thrown out" nonsense.

If they wrote a story that wipes his memory....fine, but BS if they just pick and chose what they want to keep.

That tactic might be ok when your dealing with stories 20 years and up old but you cant use it on a story only a few years old.

And I'm not sure about him knowing Supermans id.

So changing time so events never happened doesn't work, only memory alteration?

Both DC and Marvel have had a lot of that of late.

What heroes and villains know who Jason Todd is?

Doesn't matter. The number of people who know Bruce is Batman directly is too large.

JLA, Titans. Dick spilled the beans to the Titans before Bruce gave it up the the Lustice league. A fault for Dick or to then writer Bob Haney, who didn't bother with continuity being under a different editor.

Bad guys: Slade Wilson knows since Terra was his agent within the Titans. Ra's al Ghul knows. Riddler knows. Catwoman knows thanks to a writer/artist team i won't mention.

When Bruce gets back, he needs to lose the Wayne Identity. It's compromised too badly.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. The fact that they brought Gordon back from retirement means that ultimately, the status quo will always prevail.

Didn't
Batman take off his mask in front of Catwoman during the Hush arc by Loeb and Lee?

You misunderstood me.

What I ment to say is if they write a story ,any type of story, that "IN EFFECT" wipes the memory thats ok.

And by "IN EFFECT" I mean anything that would effect the memory or remove the events from happening.

Point is write something that explains why, dont just drop it and hope we dont remember.

I believe Riddler forgot and it makes sence that Catwoman knows.

She's known his id in continuities past so I dont think its all bad.

Well, he's gonna have to find a new identity with access to billions of dollars, because that Bat-equipment doesn't pay for itself.

Eh, just fake Bruce Wayne's death. The money goes to Dick and/or Alfred and they pay for the Bat-equipment for Bruce. Simple.

But he won't lose the Wayne identity. No one of any importance knows his identity. Slade's the only real problem, but they could always retcon his memory away or give him a head injury or whatever.

Did they reveal the identity and/or origin of that Genocide thing that popped up in Wonder Woman recently or did they just pull a Doomsday and wait to do that later

They mentioned that Genocide is made from Diana's corpse from the far future.

It was Ares who manipulated a bunch of scientists and sorcerers to put it together. In order to, y'know, kill things.

Would someone know where I can find the interview of G.Johns, E. Van Sciver, and I. Reis at the end of the Sinestro Corps War TPB ?

question!

I was reading the Bruce Wayne: Murderer? trade last night. and in there, Dick mentions something about having killed the Joker. I apparently missed whatever that was. anybody know what the dealio is with that?

Huh. I read Bruce Wayne: Murderer, but I don't remember that.
:/

Okay, well, that's an interesting twist and all I guess
Nah, not really. Genocide as a whole was kind of a crappy character. She exposed a lot of the contradictions in Diana, which made for a decent story, but I personally didn't like most of that arc. In the end, no matter what kind of lip service they give to Genocide, she's ultimately just Wonder Woman's Doomsday--big, dumb, seemingly all-powerful but rendered totally useless once the hero inevitably defeats him/her.

was any of the Doomsday backstory good? I never really felt compelled to read it. I thought he worked better as a one-time thing. kinda feel the same way about Bane too...

You mean Hunter/Prey? I liked it well enough. Especially the brutal way Doomsday was created, and the way they finally stopped him.

But I agree that he works best as a one-timer. More of a force of nature that way than an enemy that get diluted with every appearance and defeat. I wouldn't have minded not seeing him again after Hunter/Prey.

I did feel the same way about Bane too, although I haven't really read much of his stuff between Knightfall and the last couple of years. But, I have enjoyed him recently, especially the new take on his character in Secret Six.
