i just finished downloading it,

did anyone else's download of this file get cut off b4 phoenix saying "i am the phoenix"? cause mine did and im not sure it ended due to my crappy dial up or if the file really does end b4 that line

she says I AM POWER..then that line.

I don't understand why these battle scenes were cut. Storm creating the tidal wave, Iceman and Colossus working together to defeat Phat (which was a great visual) and the extended Phoenix destruction are so small cuts but add so much I just don't get it.

I understand cutting out the physic voices (to an extent...I think including some, but not all, might've worked), the encampment destruction (also to an extent...I think the cure needles work, but the cup version works better in my opinion at displaying the uncontrollable nature of Phoenix's powers) and so forth, but why these little tidbits? Oh well.

Well it was sort of disturbing how psycic voices was silent.....it wouldn't have fit..the others should of stayed.

oh well....but it did give more juice that was exactly like from TAS...like "Phoenix why do you inhabit Jean's body?" and etc...i enjoyed a lot.

The psychic voices is a nice concept but its execution is fairly dull. The voiceover exchange is pretty humdrum. I think more emotion is conveyed in the silent theatrical treatment than in this version.

OK. So far I think that's about 9 out of the 21/24 scenes.

Obviously nobody cares about the pyro/magneto scene.

Still waiting for the Kitty/Bobby scene and X-Jet loading scenes.

Sigh. 2 mo' days.

Anyone remember if the X2 deleted scenes were any good? I only have the single disc X2 which doesn't have any extras but saw the Jubliee one at youtube and thought it was pretty cool.

Why Ratner cut a more destructive Phoenix is beyond me, as is why he cut Bobby freezing Phat.....its like hmmm here are some pretty sick scenes, EH forget em im still making money

I love that extended dialogue between Logan and Rogue on the train, I have no idea why it was cut from the movie.

The VOice Over for Jean v Prof X,

seems like ratner went into a small room with them and got them to simply read these lines, theres no way ESPECIALLY with rehoot capabilies that he couldn't have gotten a better performance from either of them, this seems like the worst deleted scene ever to me as its merely reading the script.

The line she says is I AM THE PHOENIX, um no you simply say I AM PHOENIX, stupid ratner/writers. but again since they dont have emotion in their reading the whole scene is fruitless

Yeah, their vocal performances are kind flat in that deleted scene. Maybe they would've added in warped sound effects or something? Anyways, I'm fine with what we got in that scene. It was the most perfect, mind numbing scene in the entire film, and I wouldn't change it all (except for the teamwork scene between Storm and Logan...minus Jugg's facial expression).

Edit: Yeah, I just watched it again...the scene is more powerful with no vocals, IMO. Their facial expressions say it all, in addition to what Xavier says.

Did I miss something?

It's that damned 1.5 DVD isn't it? The regular DVD only has like 6 deleted scenes or something. 1.5 has all of them, but as far as I know, you can only access them by watching the entire movie with them turned on. And I don't know what all got deleted, so I don't know where all to look!

Stupid X-Men 1.5 DVD. It's the bane of all DVD existence.
