I don't understand why people keep wanting things changed for films. Sure somethings make sense, like the X-uniforms to actually make them look like a team. But come on, most comic books have perfect costumes for their characters. Much like Spider-man all Flash's costume needs is some proper detail work done to it to bring it into the real world and we're done.
Really? I wasn't aware that Cap had large patches of gray and had brown gloves and boots in his comics costume.
Check this out!
I just made this Flash movie poster.
I edited The Flash artwork from a deviantart user named Isikol, check out his work!

Testing some shots for a fan-made trailer I might attempt in the future, featuring Ryan Gosling and surprise visitor for a cameo

So no reply on this? Is it just me who wants Ryan Gosling as The Flash (Barry Allen)?
Currently Gosling is my favorite choice with Pine being second.
I think that Ryan Hurst has a the look, muscle build and acting chops to play Barry Allen AKA the Flash!
Gosling has said in the past that he wouldn't do any cape movies. Pine is doing Star Trek, I can see him playing Barry Allen but he's too handsome. Barry has always been the blue collar guy working on the lab Ryan Hurst seems more of the Barry Allen type.
Barry Allen, the police scientist, has never been characterized as blue collar or unattractive. Also, for a male lead in a movie, the studio doesn't understand the words 'too handsome.' We should hope they are as ugly and talented as Gosling.[/QUOTE, 9
He was never a crazy scientist (good or bad guy) like in most comic books. He was always surrounded by cops and cops are blue collar working guys and heroes notheless. Barry worked as a Forensic Lab Technitian, to me that says that he was a blue collar, 9 to 5 type of guy. The type of guy who goes from work to home and repeats the same routine everyday. That how I see Barry Allen. Gosling is a great actor but he's in terms of a good looking guy, I say go for someone who is relatively unknown. Ryan Hurst fits the bill, he's not well known except for "Remember the Titans," "Saving Private Ryan," and "Sons of Anarchy." Give the guy a chance if the film is in development.

Forensic Lab Technicians have four year degrees and desk jobs. They are quintessential white collar people. They don't get their hands 'dirty' per se. Note, white collar jobs are also 9 to 5. The difference is about the type of job it is, and no matter how blue his buddies are, Barry has a desk job.
Barry had a desk job but he got his hands dirty. This is the 21st Century, CSI (tv show) has been around for a long time, Barry Allen gets his hands dirty like those guys. He has to be updated for this generation, he's a blue collar guy...period. Forensic teams work 12 hrs shift or until the scene is taken over by the first responder.
The movie should be easy to make, he runs fast, goes thru walls, the fx should be much easier to do than the ones for GL and MOS. The suit would be the one thing that I would be looking for!
My biggest question mark regarding this movie is how are they going to translate his superpower to the big screen.
It's a difficult one, to show superhuman speed that could look good and cool.
