Because of course he couldn't possibly be using an alias. :o

So his two known relatives -Tabitha Galavan (Tigress) and Silver St. Cloud - are using aliases too?

The only way it would make sense for Theo Galavan to be Ra's al Ghul is if that is a title rather than a name, especially since, by all accounts, Theo and his family have a well-established and long-standing presence in Gotham.

Looks like Eddie ditched the nerd look and is becoming more suave and confident. Sweet!
Who the hell is that guy in the cape though? Prometheus?

Word is that Chiklis is a straight by the book Captain that Gordon looks up to. He's out to clean up the dept. Which means he will have lots of enemies and probably not last too long. Or he makes Commissioner and promotes Gordon to Captain.

I hope Bruce starts cleaning up the cave and begins his training towards becoming Batman by becoming an Encyclopedia Brown type sleuth. First he has to clean house at Wayne enterprises. He and Fox have to work together on it. Fox finds out things for him. He takes those clues and puts them together then anonymously tips off Gordon or Dent. They take down the bad elements in the company and he puts Fox in charge. That should be the arc for season two on that front.

same universe as batman begins? :mag:exp: mind blowing!

Galavan's centuries old grudge could be tied to Azrael's appearance, or the Court of Owls, or Simon Hurt. Personally, I'd prefer him, and his Gotham based connections, be centered around the Court of Owls. They're the most focused on Gotham's mythology, and I love the idea of ongoing feuds between blue-bloods giving Bruce a reason to get even more suspicious and paranoid.

Though...to provide an argument in which Galavan could be Ra's...

The Arkham games feature a Ra's who is based around Gotham City, and who has been involved with the city since the turn of the last century, so there is precedent for that in some media adaptations. Ra's also has a large family, including two sisters and three kids. If they really wanted to have someone like Frain play a Ra's who's on the edge of leaving a life where he's been settled down in a civilian identity and going back to the Demon, they could. Silver when then most likely be an alternative identity for Talia (with her status as his niece maybe being a cover for any age disparity between them) and Tigress as possibly Promise.

Still think that Court of Owls would be a better decision and more likely.

This show has a main cast of 18 people... Damn.

17 if Falcone stays gone.

Those promos look good. I have high hopes for season 2 and hope it takes all the stuff that I loved about the first season and runs with that instead of trying to do too much.

I was in Chinatown last night and caught them filming for the new season. Only Selina and Gordon on set out of the major cast. Was there for a couple of hours and was pretty much a few feet away from Ben McKenzie the entire time.

Drew Powell (Butch) Upgraded to Series Regular

Alright, now this is just getting ridiculous. If they're making him a series regular, they better have some s*** planned for him and are not just giving him this promotion because they like him and want to keep him around. Because IMO, he could've died in the finale with Fish.

Question: Do you have any info as to who will not be returning for Gotham Season 2 as a series regular? (Other than Jada Pinkett-Smith, I assume.) —Alex
Ausiello: Matt Mitovich did some digging around and learned that, as suspected, neither Victoria Cartagena nor Andrew Stewart-Jones (AKA Montoya and Allen) will return as regulars. Meanwhile, though Michael Chiklis is coming on board as GCPD Captain Nathaniel Barnes, Zabryna Guevara, who plays Captain Essen, is still a series regular — and in fact will play a key role this season.

As I suspected. So they subtracted four and added, like, double that. :lmao:

Glad to hear Captain Essen will be sticking around. She was pretty enjoyable in the first season.

Gotham Season One has landed on Netflix UK today. Must say I'm really glad as I want to rewatch it.

They're at 17 now.

Compared to Flash's 6 (provided Jay Garrick and Patty Spivot aren't regulars) and Arrow's 8.

It works for me because I envisioned from the start Gotham being sort of like Game of Thrones with a large cast (though not quite as large as GOT) and Gotham City standing in for Westeros. They didn't execute it quite as I hoped in S1, but there's still time to right the ship.

I couldn't help but notice Barbara on the poster. I guess that means we are getting more of the crazy psycho murderer version of her. I was hoping she'd just be locked away and that be that. Oh well I can just skip over scenes involving her if need be.

Those posters look really nice.
