Whoever put this trailer together did a sh** job, imo.
Yeah, that editing was slow and tedious.
Definitely seems fanmade as ****. Sure it's official?
A New Possible Joker In Every Episode Of Gotham?
They revealed that like a month ago, did they have to announce it again after everyone freaked out over the stand-up comedian?
New promo airing during the All Star game tonight. A bit surprised Bruce isn't showcased.
This show looks so ****ing good. God damn.
I like that trailer I wonder who wrote Welcome Back on that newspaper that Gordon picked up?
Made me think of Year One.
I'm guessing it was meant to be the Joker since it reminds me of the messages he would write all over newspapers in the TDK viral campaign.
Considering the way they've talked about their vision of Gotham City, I wouldn't be surprised if they took a lot of creative inspiration from Year One in the series going forward.
I was unaware of the weekly Joker teasings, but I like it.
Maybe. It was just amusing how much that quote sounded like some Year Once Bruce would say coupled with McKenzie saying the lines.
But would he be the Joker as we know him at that period in time though?
This show is too ahead of it's self. It really should have been Gordon Year One (more along the lines of Batman YO, not this prequel-ish thing), and we rarely see Batman like when he's just a shadow or something in a panel per Gotham Central issue.
Yeah, because that's totally not something that would have the online contingent b****ing week in, week out. "Why didn't we get to talk to Batman? When will we see more Batman? Why didn't we get more than ten seconds of Batman this week? Will there be more Batman next week? WHERE'S BATMAN?!?" Literally EVERY single week. It would be DC's Agents of SHIELD.
For better or worse, the Batman thing is made quite clear here. The audience wants Batman? Well, he's that kid standing right over there. And he's taking one more step closer to becoming the Batman we know with every breath he takes.
Minus that CTV trailer, all of these promos and trailers have been really good.
I actually just saw someone on Twitter who has worked with DC, though as far as I know is not involved with the show, saying that the CTV trailer is a fake. I can buy it. It looks shoddily put together. I've seen better fan trailers than that, I'd have to imagine the people at CTV could cut something better than that.
but that makes me wonder...where did the footage come from? Or did I miss something?
Everyone's been saying there was a leak of the pilot at some point. I would assume that someone decided to cut themselves a nice little trailer out of the footage.
I thought the pilot did leak? Or was that just for some reviewers to see?
I think you're right. Also, it's interesting to see the origins of everyone. Their take on Bullock is an interesting change of dynamic between Gordon and him as well.
