I think it was bosef who said Thor and Hulk are like drinking buddies. I like to interpret that as two guys who can beat the hell out of one another but still respect each others mutual strength....it's going to be interesting to watch.

Alot of the reviews are saying that Hulk steals the show and how cool the Hulk is but I'm wondering what Hulk does to get this reaction, it can't be just smashing, I wondering/hoping it's because of his personality aswell, maybe even have a couple of humorous moments.

I have been wondering what Hulk does as well to be considered the star of the film

I think the big clue comes from the TV Spot where he cap tells him to go smash and Hulk grins

I think they have abandoned the whole poor me, poor me I am afflicted with with green rage disease story and made Banner much cooler and laid back type, both as banner and hulk

so if hulk is a new kind of hulk, where he actually enjoys smashing things up as his alter ego, whilst as banner he is cool, funny and not a morbid depressive yawnfest, then it would make him so much more likeable

Apparently the way it's done is really funny and kind of subverts the whole monologuing villain thing.

I'd like to pretend it never existed. The general events that occurred in TIH can still be consider in continually (fight with Abomination and the introduction of Samuel Sterns) but I don't want specific events referenced or talking about going forward. It just need to fade into the blackness and be forgotten.

Avengers Hulk is a requel. They shouldn't dive into the origin again. If they want to make it a full blown reboot down the road they can Recon a different origin via flash back in a second or third Hulk movie in the new batch of Hulk movies.

I don't want this new Hulk to be tied down and limited by the crap that was in TIH.

Wow your one of the first to speak of TIH that way I thought I was one of the only ones who felt that way.I remeber speaking on it and it seems most people swear by it.
I just couldn't get past his rubbery look and video game chi rendition.
I agree wholeheartedly the only problem I saw with the 03 version was the storytelling.
Plus the fact that he was 15 feet tall but there are still some scenes where the cg is amazing especially for its time.
I must say I do agree with the origin being a flashback but I feel they should do it in this movie.Fury can give a rundown on each hero and play a new Origin and we are done.I know they have to use the super soldier origin but make it that in combinition with a Gamma bomb and the serum kept him alive.Like in Hulk the Gamma was killing him but the nano boys kept him alive that's was why he became the hulk except here substitute the nano with the serum.
