I got bullied so much for liking Spider-Man but it didn't matter to me. It was all worth it.
Why thank you.
I too have a lot of fond memories of that game. It was one of the many hype fuel items I used back in 7th grade to pass the time for the movie.
Speaking of which, I recently rewatched the first teaser trailer for the first Spider-Man movie. Does anyone else still get chills? I do, every time I watch it, I get thrown right back into the movie theater when I first saw it.
August 2001, Jurassic Park III. Me, my brother, and my dad. All 3 of us in total shock. I even remember my dad's reaction when the helicopter was being pulled back, by then he knew.
He just said "oh my goooood..."
One of my top memories with the old man and Spidey. Won't ever forget it.![]()

I still play that PS1 game. And the sequel Enter Electro. And Spider-Man 2 the movie game. For me they are the only Spidey games with any real replay value. Oh and Spider-Man vs The Kingpin on the Sega Genesis is fun, too, but not as good as the other three.
Awww man that's awful
*Virtual hug*
I could never warm to the USM game because it was basically just chase the villain. Nearly every level involved a chase. Got very tedious.
Do you like the Spider-Man Movie game on PS2? I mostly play it for the sake of nostalgia. Brings me back to the good ol' days that I miss so much.
I loved the Enter Electro soundtrack.

Spider-Man: The Game (PS2) felt like the unofficial sequel to Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro for the PS1. I miss it.
I do like it. It was a fun game, but it never reached the heights of the PS1 games or it's successor Spider-Man 2. I remember playing it for the first time and it was surreal hearing Tobey's voice come from a video game Spidey.
This music (and this whole intro sequence) was always my favorite in the game. It has an eerie menace quality to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrfNy2qzz0E&t=0m49s
The game had limited web usage didn't it? Even though the movie didn't have mechanical shooters. The past game to do that I think.
I feel the same. The game is sort if in the middle but I enjoy it for what it is. I always enjoyed that "Pinhead Bowling" addition in the game as well as Bruce Campbell's narration.![]()
Electro actually comes off as menacing in that game. Unlike another version of the character we got in a Marc Webb directed film...![]()
Oh man, reading through these posts is taking me back to the best days of my childhood.
I never got to play too many games as a kid, but the one game I cherished more than anything was SM2. I still remember seeing the E3 footage and the official trailers before its release.
I'm sure some of you remember this:

Holy nostalgia Batman, that takes me back to the good 'ol days. I remember loving that trailer but also being very disappointed that the only villain they showed in it was Shocker. No Mysterio, or Rhino, and most importantly no shots of Doc Ock.
Guys, you all should watch this video. It perfectly describes why Tobey, and the Raimi movies, are the best.

Him having a kind of raspy voice one would only imagine a really shy guy having? Uh, yeah, as it turns out, that fits perfectly.
You feeling awkward watching him trying to win MJ over with poetry in the second movie? Uh, yeah, that fits perfectly.
You feeling awkward watching him try to be confident without his powers? Uh, yeah, that fits perfectly.
Thats why instead of creating super complex machinery to visually prove hes smart, we learned about his intelligence through subtitleties in the dialogue and character interactions.
