Has the Vulturess thing ever been officially confirmed? I always took it as an unsubstantiated rumor.

Would be nice to find out for sure one of these days. The Vulture dying and his daughter blaming Spidey seems to be confirmed by this, though- I lean towards it having been something along those lines. I saw on Twitter somebody's out there writing a book on the unmade Spidey movies and said they got a lot of previously unheard info on SM4 for it, that should be cool.

I'd definitely like to see what exists of Black Cat concepts from SM4. We've really seen not much from the movie all things considered.

Thinking about it, if she was Vulture's daughter that wouldn't be too far off for an adaptation to go. Her dad was a burglar, Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon made the burglar that killed Uncle Ben Black Cat's dad (and that was around when this was being worked on), it'd basically just be an extension of those kinds of things. It's funny, Homecoming ended up having Peter's love interest be Vulture's daughter as well- the concept was retooled perhaps. Black Cat having a romance with Spidey and maybe turning on him cause she blames him for her dad's death coulda been fun. Just no Vulturess, those rumors were and still are dumb!
