Havn't seen SM3 from start to finnish in ages, I find it hard to sit through it. I get through the first 30 minutes or so but shortly after it gets hard to continue.

Can't blame you. I cannot find myself a reason to. I usually go to the action parts and spare myself the suffering.

I don't think it was 5 minutes and while not comedy gold it was still funny. As for that SM3 Raimi based his Spidey on the 60's run. Not surprising the humour was similar

Yes, it wasn't five minutes. maybe I was exaggerating to make a point. Well, if I ever go back to the 60's I won't forget to see SM3 then to see if it works.

I can't remember his SM3 cameo. I liked him as the ring announcer in 1 and as the doorman in 2.

That was his best cameo.

Saw this '5 Great Scenes From Spider-Man 3' over on reddit and it got me watching Spider-Man 3 last night. It's far from perfect but is not as bad as I used to think.

I've actually always liked SM3, definitely the worst of the 3, but good. IMO.

I'd probably add the moment when Peter gets the symbiote as one of the top scenes of the movie. I love the black suit score so much. The only problem I had with that scene was that it didn't show how much more power the symbiote gave Peter. They should've had a few lines in there when Spidey says," Wow,I could never jump that far before!" or "With this suit,I feel stronger...faster...more agile!" But I'm still happy with that moment.

Yeah,I don't know why they would,but...a cool pic nonetheless. One of the first pics of the suit they released,I believe,back in 2001.

Yeah, Venom was too scrawny in SM3. I didn't mind that Eddie was scrawny, but the goo should have bulked him up.

I did like the suit's design though.

Alot of people didn't like how skinny or small he was,but being a HUGE Venom fan,I never minded it at all. The Hulk look for Venom really would only work in the comics,I think. I was more upset about the lack of character and screentime. Venom was more or less a footnote in Spidey 3 when he should've been the main villain. But when he was on screen he looked awesome,no doubt. I just wished we saw the "Venom face" more inside of seeing Topher's all the time.

I was more upset about the lack of character and screentime. Venom was more or less a footnote in Spidey 3 when he should've been the main villain. But when he was on screen he looked awesome,no doubt. I just wished we saw the "Venom face" more inside of seeing Topher's all the time.

I think Marko's sob story was well done, and even though making him Uncle Ben's killer was... questionable, Spider-Man going after him wearing the Black Suit made the most of it.

However, I think the film would have improved without Sandman, and having Harry be the main villain. Maybe after Spider defaces Harry he would have realized that the suit was affecting him negatively (instead of accidentally hitting MJ), and Venom would be the villain for SM4, and Harry's turn to heroism would be more believable with a longer time to tell it.

Skinny or Small, I'm seeing neither. Not to mention, Venom wasn't always super epic massive Hulk symbiote guy either, I've seen plenty of comics where Venom was around or even *slightly* bigger than Spider-Man.

The perfect size is "just bigger" than Spider-Man.

I'll take being the same size over Hulkish IMO though.

I thought Venom was the perfect size in Spider-Man 3. The bigger he is, the dumber and more lunkheaded he looks.

I love this.

He really reminded me of Romita's and Bagley's version, which are my favorites.
