The Official Lanterns News & Discussion Thread

So does the deal with Mattel mean that Mcfarlane is done with DC?

not entirely according to Todd McFarlane , but they don't know to what extent yet.
Given that he’s managed to carve out a niche for himself lately playing around with other companies’ licenses (Marvel, Transformers, TMNT), I wouldn’t be surprised if he was still able to hold on to a bit of DC.

But I would guess that DC Multiverse will be out of his hands.

I was so hoping to get a Larfleeze/Saint Walker/Starphire before his line ended... or even Jessica Cruz. I literally got all the human GLs besides Cruz.

I just hope that McFarlane Toys will be able to continue reissuing DC Collectibles' Batman TAS and TNBA figures.
Sure, there's some very questionable cell-shading on some of them, but it gives me a chance to complete my collection... And the additions are pretty cool, with Condiment King, Zeus or Lock-Up...

Could be ANYTHING. Any prop / costume / make-up / practical effect, etc.

Hopefully this will have better writing for Parker than And Just Like That...

This series has me genuinely excited for the possibility. Even if the first official pic is just two dudes standing on the road lol

Aw, it looks like he’s playing Kelly Macdonald’s husband.

I saw a white man with dark hair and thought he might be one of Hal’s brothers or his father in flashback.

Good casting.

I'll always have a soft spot for his Dad , who was one of my favorite actors growing up in the 80s and 90s.

He was a good actor in his own write.

John Ritter was great...and Jason is a very good as well!

Ritter will play Billy Macon, described as “a good-looking charmer who does his father’s bidding.
Please tell me he is not supposed to be Dillahunt’s son.

60 and 45. Had him young. Or Ritter is just gonna play younger.

I mean, that's more of an age difference than Sean Connery and Harrison Ford had in playing father and son, and since Dillahunt's always naturally had a bit of an old face and Ritter's got a young one, wouldn't even seem weird if that is indeed the case, tbh.

They can just say that Dillahunt’s character is 65 and Jason Ritter‘s character is 40, and you pretty much fix the age issue.
