That is so cool.

I love Clive Owen. The guy should get bigger parts in summer blockbusters. I recently re-watched The International (immensely underrated and scary accurate movie like Ridley Scott's Body of Lies) and kicked major ass in it.

Yeah I really think he has the chops to play a great Lex, and I just love his look, and his naturally cool, cold/distant charisma in most of his roles.

He has dem eyebrows, but even in his younger days I think his look was too abstract for Lex.

Yul Brynner would be my all time fav actor from the past to Play Lex. Looking good bald is just icing on the cake.
Second fav would be Bogart. He would bring the thug feel to Lex.

Not an obvious choice maybe, but he looks pretty creepy and is also able to look charming. Kinda looks a bit like a slightly certifiable spoiled loony. A bit like a young ginger Lex from Birthright, maybe?

I agree, He looks like an alien, good choice for Brainyac.

I could see him as Brainiac, but maybe his acting would disappear in that character.

For Brainiac I personally would prefer a body-actor with a slender build like Doug Jones who has a great body-language. Then I'd get someone else to do the voice.

I vividly remember suggesting Matt Damon here a year or so ago to a slew of "WHAAAAAT? THAT'S A TERRIBLE IDEA!" reactions.

And then the moment Damon got spotted on set of Elysium with a shaved heard suddenly everyone was looking at him for Lex.

I think he's a very uninspiring choice. And not Lex-material at all. Looks too much like a jock or something. No style at all.

Though he's far more than a shaved head, there are a lot of actors who could play Lex Luthor. They need to find someone amazing, though, not one of the usual suspects (though Spacey was fantastic) and he needs to be quite well written.

Yeha but they can still use a great actor actor and model the face after him like in Avatar.

damon has a round face and stocky body type. not quite right for lex.

Unless they base Brainiac off the New 52 version, there's no need. He's a bald human with green skin and a purple outfit.

Edit: I know he's not human, but my point is there's nothing alien about his appearance other than the green skin and the stuff on his head.
