Whoever is cast aside from being a great actor hopefully. I'd like the idea of them being in quite good physical shape somewhat muscular even (maybe not to full cavill extent but not far actually).

To my understanding of modern lex he really does try to be all he can be to be the top of human perfection but the fact that he'll never be at superman's level infurtiates him. So i'd like to see an actor who could reflect that nature of vanity and jealously physically as well.

If you go over to cosmic book news, there's a rumor there that Snyder wants Mark Strong to play Lex.

That site has a lot of bullsh** on it, but if there's any truth to this rumor, I'd be down with it. He'll likely never play Sinestro again and honestly, outside of comic book movie message boards, I'm not sure that many people even realize he was in Green Lantern since he looked so different there.

It could be a situation similar to Marvel when they targeted Chris Evans for Captain America. They already had a relationship with him from F4 (even though that was Fox). Perhaps WB recognized that Strong was arguably the best thing about the GL movie and wants him for this.
