To get away from these terrible jokes I went to the Lincoln hotel in Eversmile, New Jersey and got A Room With A View. Unfortunately all I could see was the Stars and Bars. You guys ruined my Sunday Bloody Sunday.

... The Crucible.

day Lewis in an attempt to out due ledger

Ever since I watched the DCAU/Superman animated series, I have imagined Billy Zane as the ideal Lex Luthor. He has the look and the attitude for a snide bastard as depicted when he played the villain from titanic. Also the voice is perfect.

Billy's ship has sailed out a long time ago sadly. I mean, I think he could be a great Lex, but either he needs a new agent or career change of some sort.

After seeing some of the Tudors, I think a CRAZY if they would consier Cavill's 'brother' from the show as Lex: Yes, Jonathan Rhys Meyers. They already have the chemistry but it would be the matter if they want a Lex Luthor that is closer to Superman's age..

And...and...Jonathan should have an Aussie accent, and throw boomerangs at his minions! Genius! :p

Such a wonderful idea! On a serious note, I think he would be a great, pretty boy/playboy Lex.

I've always thought it would be most interesting if lex were a very charming, suave american james bond type, and when you see his nasty narcissistic side, it's almost doubly shocking coming from a guy that you want to like.

I think Leo DiCaprio would be perfect for this, really. JRM would be great too but i kind want a BIIIIIIIIIIIIG NAME for the role. Someone like Andy Garcia or something.

It makes me wonder if Nolan has put the thought of playing Lex in Leo's head.

Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin or Edward Norton.

The actor has to look good bald though. DiCaprio would not, me thinks. His head is too round for it.

If JRM played Lex, he would officially have played 3 of my favorite persons, including Elvis Presley & Henry VIII. And all three royalty - the King of England, The King of Rock & Roll, and the King of Metropolis.

Yes, Leo is a great actor, and yes, he'd bring star power to the film, but I just don't think he's the right guy for Lex. That's just me.

I'd be cool with Guy Pearce, Paul Bettany, Patrick Wilson, or someone along those lines.

That is basically what he is. He's the anti-Bruce Wayne. He's charming, people like him, but his gripe is that people like Superman more.
