Thinking about it, I think he'd make an incredible Perry White. Cheers for the epiphany though, I've been struggling for a Perry suggestion for a while!

Personally i've never suggested him for anyone else... so it really doesn't matter to me.

I know how annoying it can be when someone is suggested for various different roles. I find that happens most often with female roles. A guy likes a female actress and just wants them in every movie possible.

But this is different. Jason Issacs has the acting ability, the look, the charisma and the experience playing a villain. He's as fitting a choice for Lex as Rachel McAdams is for Lois IMO.

Both easy choices though, which is why I continue to suggest other, out of the box, candidates as well.

No, Ryan Gosling should play a hero of some sort. Like The Flash.

(Keep in mind, Ryan mentioned RECENTLY that he wouldn't oppose in doing a superhero movie. He's going back on his word when he turned down Green Lantenr)

Maybe the key to getting Gosling is by offering him a villian part. I'd be willing to see what Gosling could do as Lex Luthor.

Agreed completely. Like Jeffrey Dean Morgan for Perry White, it's not the usual look that is suggested, or that i'd go for. But because of the combination of roles i've seen him in, i think he'd bring an interesting edge.

my first choice was Tom Hardy to play Lex (I thought that when I saw him in Star Trek Nemesis lol) but since he's playing Bane...........Jason Isaacs is now in my top picks

If you threw Lex Luthor: Man of Steel in front of Gosling, and various other comic books, I think he would like the idea of sinking his teeth into the character.

I feel like we were in the KNOW on Hardy. I loved him in Nemesis myself despite the movie sucking.

For the sake of big names I think could be interesting for Lex. Let's go with the biggest male name in the last 15 years.

Brad Pitt.

We have been talking about getting the biggest names out there. We have talked about having someone charismatic and maybe even a bit suave for Lex. A billionaire the women will see and look past his manipulative characteristics.

That would be pretty interesting imo.

Ugh. I know that's not your manip, Zack, but ya can't just slap Bruce Willis' cranium on Brad Pitt's head. It's cheap, it's sloppy, and it looks like bunk. I direct this to whoever made the original. It makes me sad.

Edit: I've been working on a chop of Wentworth Miller as Lex. Why? I have no idea. But you can bet your sweet @ss his head will look perfect.

If Daniel Day Lewis is Lex, I hope he doesn't ham it up like Kevin Spacey or Gene Hackman. I hope his portrayal is closer to Michael Rosenbaum's. Heck, I hope his portrayal is closer to John Glover's as that is the kind of Lex i'd like to see on screen. A truly villanous, magnificent bastard.
