I thought Zod/Luthor were the villains in this film. Or was that disinformation?

I think there's some backtracking on part of Deadline and Latino Review. It's not to say that Zod won't be in, but nobody knows for sure at this point.

I don't think it's been said either way. Luthor is expected, but months ago Snyder said we "don't know anything" when it comes to these rumors... but THAT could be disinformation.

I just hope they set things straight soon. I'm started to get sick of all the rumors and things of the sort.

Braniac was originally reported to be in the film by Latino late in 2009 I believe.

For example, Viggo was rumored and I think he was approached for a role. It's possible that the source just guessed that he's playing Zod. So it's like partially true info coming out here and there.

Remember, Variety was the site that stated that Lois won't be in the movie, so..there's a lot of junk out there.

Yeah there's a lot of disinformation, and plus you've got to figure that the filmmakers are also just trying to keep us all as faraway from the truth as possible, which I can understand, they haven't even started shooting yet.

Snyder said he's as eager as we are for the rest of the "awesome" cast to be known, so hopefully more announcements will come soon. Just knowing the actors in the movie will be enough to tide me over for a little bit... I just don't like not knowing what's going on.

Yeah, I'm not buying into anything 100% until we get some confirmations on stuff. Even when the Zod rumor broke, the site that reported it stressed that it was a rumor. But after that, Zod-ites on this board started proclaiming it as fact.
