The Official Lois Lane Casting & Discussion Thread - Part 6

COMPLETELY AGREE. With everything you said. Cornish isn't even some what attractive in my opinion. And with Kendrick, she doesn't have the look nor the personality.

I have hated her look all long for Lois but from that picture, she could play a really good Golden-Age Lois.

I want to see a Superman movie placed back in the 30's and 40's. She would be great if they did that but I am still iffy on a modern day Lois.

I don't know if Snyder/Nolan would go that route, but a Superman set in that time period could be awesome. I loved the Rocketeer, and always wondered why someone didn't go that direction with a Superman movie. With Captain America set in that era I don't see them doing it for fear of being accused of copying.

You forgot a "period" and "coma". The actually sentence should be:

"If it happens, she'll be 'cast' not 'casted'.

Do better next time. :whatever:

Funny you bring that up, since you didn't use a period or capitalize. :o

I would much rather see a modern take on Superman, but I would also love to see a 30's Superman.

I think he was just trying to make a point. Don't criticize my grammar if your grammar isn't perfect. Not actually being grammatically correct.

Correct, but I could have put the comma after 'cast'.:yay: Good come back on your part though!

BACK TO THE CASTING.
Good Lois':
Olivia Wilde
Rachel McAdams

Bad Lois':
Abbie Cornish
Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Average Lois':
Jessica Biel
Emily Blunt

Of course, this is my opinion. And seeing as how my opinions are better then your's, I suggest you agree. ;D

Ummm...actually, he forgot a period and a "comma". Unless you meant that he did not remember that he was in a state of unconsciousness. If that's the case, my bad. :woot:

Yeah Zach. I think I love you.

:awesome:

Yeah I saw that too, but as I'd already effed up, I thought it best to leave well enough alone haha! (corrected the 'too' or is to?) Coma time.
I left the word "actually" there to see if you catch it, apparently you decided to except it.

When did this thread become School House Rock? I'm waiting for someone to start singing about interjections.

Snyder could pick any of those listed above afaik. None are particularly egregeous, and they certainly couldn't do worse than Kate Bosworth.

This is going to sound completely crazy, but I would rather have Bosworthless then Cornish....

Oh, this is just too good.

Just when I thought DIRECTOR couldn't get any worse, he goes and pulls something I never thought I'd seem him do. He attempts to become a grammar Nazi.

Oh, the irony.

Since I believe Mr. Director was the originator of faux word "casted" here on this board, I thought I'd take a look back on some of his posts. As you can see, he's a true English major.

Someone has a lot of free time on their hands...

Not really. Those were his four most recent posts in this thread. That took me about five minutes.

But you're right; sorry. Let's refrain from picking on grammatical mistakes. Let's go back to calling each other stupid for making various casting suggestions and calling various actresses ugly because they're not someone's ideal Lois Lane.
