Who is your #1 choice for the part?

currently it's Jessica Stroup...probably with Alison Brie as number 2. the 2 main reasons i'm not gung-ho for McAdams is because she's 5 years older than Cavill (though she doesn't look 32) and i'm just tired of seeing her name for every female character under the comic book sun. i also don't find her very memorable in her roles. i'd like to see someone with a more unique personality take the role.....which is why i don't care for the likes of MEW, Blunt, and Biel.

I actually think her work in the Hot Chick is a better example, she really sold me on Rob Schneider inhabiting her body....

I'ma have to catch a glimpse of that. The main quality of hers that I think lends itself to this role is her spunk. In the work that calls for it, she can naturally be energetic and full of energy, without being quirky or weird, honestly she seems spunky like that in real life

I actually think her work in Morning Glory is a better example for this part. She displays a toughness and grit, while still being charming and sweet.

Ehhh, if casted as Lois(fingers crossed), I hope she channels her inner Regina from Mean Girls. I don't want the meanness, but the aggression and determination. If she mixes her performance in Morning Glory with her performance in Mean Girls, then she'd be a perfect Lois.

Never thought of Mila Kunis as Lois, but I like the idea!

Jessica Biel gets a big NO from me, because her acting is mediocre at best.

I like Kunis but she hasn't exactly proven to be a great actress either. I think that Biel gets way too much flak, she's not the best actress around but she has never ruined a film for me and she is always decent.

McAdams is the best choice out of those choices though but I wouldn't be up in arms about Biel.

I think it could be Biel because she was on that Catwoman list and it seems like a discision that the WB would make. But I wouldn't be surprised if they went with someone five years younger than Cavill. Look at the other superhero pairings.

Anne Hathaway is 8 or so years younger than Bale

Emma Stone is like 5 years younger than Garfield

Blake Lively is like a decade younger than Ryan Reynolds

Most of the time they seem to like the actress to be younger than the guy for some reason so I wouldn't be surprised if they got a 22 to 24 year old for the role.

since i dont like the rumored list. i'm throwing in someone i haven't seen on here yet. nora zehetner from heroes, mad men, and one of my favorite movies, brick. she doesn't have the look exactly, but i kinda got a crush, and if zooey is gonna be on the list i thought i'd add her also.

They also wanted Biel for Wonder Woman and McAdams for both TDK and TDKR. WB have been trying to get those 2 in superhero movies for years.

Guess you haven't seen Black Swan. She was pretty great. Her performance is that is better then any performance Biel has every done. But I wouldn't be TO disappointed if Biel was casted.

Hey - I seconded your Smulders motion! It just got lost in the rush of McAdams posts. I think McAdams is too sweet looking and forgettable, but I could deal if she were cast.

Megan Fox could have played that role in Black Swan and did it as well as Kunis did IMHO.

I disagree. Mila Kunis had a deceptively challenging role, as she essentially has to play two performances at once. One as the innocent, well-intentioned friendly girl who the character probably actually is, and one as the conniving, scheming skank that Natalie Portman's character conceives her as being. She has to simultaneously be convincing as both personas, as her opinion of her character sways back and forth.
