Ok so Vic was asked by some via twitch during their Q&A about if he heard what went down with in konomi? He mentioned some details about some certain times when he did visit Mr. Kojima for iterviews he did see some of the power struggles over there at times.
it's in the latter half of video & audio pod cast.

they've put it on their Youtube. channel but the linked words of description lead to the page where the VOD & AOD was done on their site below

Man...it's going to be strange getting a Metal Gear Solid game without Kojima's fingerprints on it. Does anyone know if Kojima Productions is just being torn apart, or if they're following Kojima out the door? Because with reports that Konami is hiring new people to work on the next MGS...that's gotta mean that KP is basically leaving with Kojima, right?

And, I think we should probably be ready for an MGS game that will be different from the rest. I don't think it will have the same vibe as the others, and if they attempt to go for the same kind of "weird" or "strange" that people equate with Kojima, it will wind up coming across as either fake or making fun of the previous MGS games. I think about how most MGS fans hated Metal Gear Rising...and I wonder if the finale of that game, and how it seemed to make fun of MGS was also a factor. I was fine with it, but I don't know if I could be as accepting with a self-mocking vibe that could be inadvertently get made by people trying to copy Kojima's weirdness.

It's going to be a really weird, and interesting, experience to see how all of this stuff pans out, I think. I'm down for a new and different direction with MGS, personally. Even if it's something that's serious, or completely different. All I really would be worried about until it's release is gameplay.

I put in an order with Best Buy along with my Gamestop order as well just because the order I put in with Gamestop has me worried since it literally went out of stock as soon as I placed my order. I am going to play it safe with the Best Buy one just to make sure I get one.

Man...I'm still waiting for the CE PS4 version to get back in stock. I can't believe I missed news of the CE version being put up for pre-order. Hopefully, it'll be back in stock somewhere, so I can get the thing.

Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll wind up paying a crazy amount for the thing on ebay...:csad:

On paper, the production company is being merged into Konami as a whole. But in practice, yeah, I expect at least some of them will probably leave with Kojima.

I came here about this too. Please don't let this fall though. I liked Downpour but the series needs a major redemption.

Still OOT, but it seems the deal for Silent Hills was between Del Toro and Konami, so we should be safe here.

I don't know, wasn't there another game that Del Toro was attached to...but it ultimately fell apart and never even materialized into anything at all? Having Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions on it gave it a credence that the thing would actually see the light of day. Well, that and P.T. was amazing.

I'm not as confident in Silent Hills now that Kojima and Kojima Productions is out the door.

There have been many things that Del Toro was attached to that feel about. Like half the films his name is attached to end up that way, so I'm sure there's at least one game out there like that.

As I said before, I think it really just comes down to whether or not Kojima was the director or not. If he was, it's toast (though it may still get reworked and released as a new project), if he wasn't, there is still hope.

I was never under the impression that Kojima was directing SH.. I just thought he was helping with it?

It was never explicitly stated one way or the other. Apparently Kojima referenced being asked to direct a SH game at one point in the past, but as far as Silent Hills itself, though, there was never any confirmation of what his role was. It was one of the reasons I wasn't as excited as a lot of people were, despite being a SH fan. The burn of the misleading Lord of Shadows reveal still stings.

It's true that a lot of Del Toro's projects never see the light of the day. But Silent Hill is an already known IP, so let's stay positive.

I'm really neither positive or negative about it, I'm just staying neutral until we know more details. I'm pretty sure of my previous assessment, though, it's all going to be what Kojima's involvement to the project actual was as to whether it's getting canned or not.

I can't stay neutral, I put too much faith in this project. I have to believe it will be made eventually.

There will be no Kojima Station broadcast this week, the Metal Gear Solid developer announced in a notice on the weekly program’s website.

The notice reads:
To everyone who usually watches Kojima Station, thank you. The broadcast scheduled for March 26 at 20:00 has been cancelled due to various circumstances. Nevertheless, we apologize to those looking forward to it. As for the next broadcast, we will share more information as soon as it’s decided.
The halt comes following news that Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima is expected to leave Konami following the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as the result of a fallout between his studio and the company.
Kojima Station regularly broadcasts every three weeks.

I thought people were kidding about how long the MGS4 cutscenes were. Yeesh.

Also, how does the game save at checkpoints? Does it let me save and pick up at that check point or do I have to finish the entire area before I can save?

I was able to pre-order the Collector's Edition for PS4 at GameStop a few days ago. Now I am ready for September 1st!

Me too. I mean P.T. was the talk of the game world for a time last year. With Del Toro and Reedus attached, I couldnt imagine Konami letting it go. I just hope if Kojima is off the project, he left a good impression and lots of ideas with the rest of the team.

It would be a serious shame to not see Silent Hills come to fruition.

you can save anytime in the menu actually.

Yeah, I finally figured that out. I'm too used to games like Fallout where they save you as is right in place. Not used to having to restart an area just because I reload. :p
