Sadly TDK couldn't satisfy me on all levels and seemed to recur dramaturgic(?) faults that irked me in Begins already and seemed out of place.
(I guess these points came up before but i dont feel like reading a NOVEL right now^^)
- Joker's Party Crashing
The scene was left unfinished. Bats takes the shortcut to the streets rescuing Rachel and it is over although J and his goons are still in the Penthouse. Unless they took the Heli to ecsape (yeah right

) there was no way to avoid a second encounter.
The only point I could think of is that Bruce tried to minimise escalation by leaving the scene immediatly but: not mentioned = not happened.
...also they would have both(B+R) died from that fall. Why didn't they show bats heroically rescuing her ala Spiderman instead of them hitting a car at 100mph and Rachel smiling like "aw, that was close."
- The Chase
What about that "we're forced to take the tunnel"-crap? As if the firetruck blocking the road is not enough of a trap-indicator, they just could have taken the road on the left around the tunnel-entrance
- The Rachel/Harvey-Game
it was of course one of the scenes I loved most, especially the part that Bats acctually wanted to save Rachel (sweetness

). But who was the "game" designed for? When J planned this thing he must've still thought Dent was indeed Batman
I wish they included some flashbacks in the film that'd show how Joker plays the strings in his plans (I mean the whole ferrie-Plot - which I almost loved as much as I'd have loved to see both boats explode in front of the fighting couple - seemed quite generic and implausible to be planned), how he made his "army" of goons and crooked cops ect. work the way he wanted them to.
