easy yeah but why would someone go out of their way to do something like that? it's not like dishonored is a game psplus owners were particularly asking for. and as the psu article mentions, it would make sense with the delayed announcement of what the free games were gonna be this month.

You've been on the internet long enough to know the answer to that

havok.

i'd think it was a trolling/hoax if this was a highly coveted game. for psplus owners. this was a random in the Ps3 library imo, it's ~3 years old, and it makes sense.

Oh, Sony.

You love trolling me.

More indie / mobile games for my home console.

Probably. For the record, I've never played any of the Dark Souls games. Looks good though.

we're in the same boat, my friend. it'll be a new experience for the both of us.

although i'd like to be employed by the time the goddamn game releases.

Dell right now has a deal where you get a 25 dollar gift card if you buy Bloodborne. But it doesn't ship for a while.

I'm taking a break from my PS4. Been focusing on my new... New 3DS.

be sure to get back to it when bb drops ;)

I still have no clue where all the hype for Bloodborne came from but I am certainly intrigued.

People like the Souls games.

from software's track record with the souls series has helped propel this genre into being niche, to somewhat mainstream

Has any one had a slim ps3 get the YLOD on them? My first ps3 after like 2.5 years got one but that was the fat one. Now my second one witch is a slim ps3 that I have had much longer like 4-4.5 years just did a double beeb on me and reset when I was just in the PlayStation store so I am wored that it may be trying to get the YLOD on me. When it happened with my first ps3 it happened after I had been playing for like 2-3 hours and shut it off and then like a half an hour latter when I started to play again after only like 5 minutes it YLOD on me. Right now with this system it did the double beeb on me even though I had not even used the system in a few weeks. Now I am trying to at least back up my files. I do that ever so often but I figured I would do it again in cause my system breaks as it has been a while sinces I did that.

I had the fat PS3 since launch. The only problem I had with it was that I shouldn't have bought it at gamestop and the Ps2 emulator stopped working. Sent it to sony and they haver a refurbished one, I think.

I had an original 60gb PS3 that got the YLOD after about 3-3 1/2 years. But my 160gb PS3 Slim is still running strong and I've had it since 2009 when my original bit the dust. Never had any issues with that one and it still runs quiet too.

That is odd that something like the Ps2 emulator had problems.

I tend to have issues with my systems after only like 2.5 years. I had 2 game cube's that stoped reading disk after about 2.5 years and like I said my first ps3 got the YLOD after only about 2.5 years. This slim ps3 that I have had for like 4.5 years that I am talking about still runs very quiet. I basicly cant hear it. I find ps4 is slightly loader then ps3 slim but still very quite. The fat ps3 was pretty load. Any way so I was able to back up my saves last night and I think I may have just over reactied has I think my system has done the double beep reset thing pletty of times before in the past.

I even had something happened a while back I forget what it was where I thought the systems was trying to go out or something and that was like 2 years ago and I have basicly had no issues sinces then.
I played batman akrham orgins tonight for like a hour and had no issue at all. I think I was just wored because of my history with system and because I think this was the first time I have gotten a double beep when I am not playing a game has it happened when I was in just the playstaion store. I don't think I have heard of any one that has had a slim Ps3 get the YLOD but I am sure they happened just not has often has the fat one probly.

I don't think it was even the emulator, that was with the 1st 80GB model but the 60GB had the actual EE chip inside of it. I was playing TTT, which was a launch title for the Ps2, so it was actually on a disc, not even on a DVD. I remembered even when I played it on my Ps2 and put in the TTT disc in, during the bootup the Ps2's fans our whatever always sounded like it was spazzin out.

Damn it! I didn't fire up the old ps4 for the whole month of February and I missed out on Transistor. Mofugger, I really wanted that game too

Looks like Dishonored actually was pulled at the last second and is coming in April

It is possible that your DVD reader was defective. A PS3 with a defective DVD reader can still play Blurays (PS3 games) fine. Or so I've been told anyway.

Or there was something wrong with the emotion engine.

I still wish they would have left that in. But why make your system backwards compatible when you can sell people games they've already bought?

Did anyone hear about the beta test they are doing for the next firmware update? It is said to have a true rest mode that won't kill applications when you go into that mode
