@JeanGrey, why did you have to upload one of the most disrespectful and selfish things Marvel has ever done?! Milligan is not the only one to blame for those sucky arcs he wrote. Joe Quesada is responsible for all this dumb BS Marvel has done during the last five years. I agree with the hundreds of SHH users and Marvel readers who think he should be fired. The 2000's has been the worst decade for Marvel comics b/c of him.

I appreciated her uploading those photos. I hadn't seen the full transformation scene from Blood of Apocalypse. I really appreciate someone who shares the same opinions as I do about Gambit and Rogue. Their love is absolutely wonderful.

I don't know how much input the writers have in the major decisions about what will happen to a character, but perhaps they have control over what lines they give the characters. I may be silly, but I looked at the TPB's of the story arcs of the past two years and the writing didn't strike me as the worst it could be. Time may tell if the 2000's were the worst decade.

But I must say, I really miss the way the comic was written in the mid-90's except that whole Age of Apocalypse nonsense. I quit reading after that and only just came back to the comics this summer.

Mainly because there tons of Gambit fans that love Rogue.

That, and in any character thread there will be debates over their love life, and Gambit plays a rather large role in Rogue's.

I posted something like that in X-Men thread 04nbod. I think it won't be Iceman or Cannonball. I expect someone else that will come in following arcs. I expect carey to surprise us.

i really can't think of who- iceman and cannonball would be the obvious choices. i guess we'll get new characters after 200- angel would be good but i doubt it. Its fun to speculate

I believe it's far more likely to be a character that hasn't been on the scene in awhile... I don't think Iceman or Cannonball would really mesh with her in that regard.

From Careys comments it doesn't sound like Rogue will really hook up with someone new, but just get sorta close to someone. I don't think Rogue will ever be paired with anyone other than Gambit. Especially not with him returning soon.

Something like heavy flirting, i dont think it will be much more. I like that carey wants to clear things between Rogue and Gambit. Whether they pair up again or not.

Well I find it humiliating to upload photos of drastic events that have occured in Marvel lately. I can't read their comics anymore b/c of it. I did come back to reading Marvel comics in early 2005, but then suddenly early last year I quit again. Gambit, Polaris and Sunfire becoming horsemen made me not wanna read the issues including them. Then Mystique, Sabretooth and Lady Mastermind being on the x-men makes me not wanna read the issues including them. When these characters are poorly written, changed for the worse or look out of character... I stop reading the issues including them b/c all that does is make them look bad and it's a slap in the face to their fans.

What's to respond to? Your insightful comment on how my Avatar, Anna Paquin, will never truely be comic Rogue? Your humerous comment is hardly worth a second glance at. Now, I'll respond to this comment. I have not been "one of those users" who thinks Anna/Rogue will progress...I have hardly been one to say, "I can't wait for X4, where Rogue will really shine." I have been "one of those users" who was happy, content with the MovieVerse Rogue character and Anna's portrayl of such. Sorry, but your blind accusations and assumptions make it hard for anyone to have a real conversation. What does it feel like to be someone on this board who makes comments, and rarely have people respond in a positive way? Keep on commenting against me, cause, to put it in your words, "I can go on forever baby." I sometimes wish there was an argument thread so you and I could go at it full steam, I feel like almost everyone here could leave you in the dust...but with you it's hardly a meaningful debate...considering your nasty and unmoveable attitude.

Two more things...having high expectations for something you enjoy is NOT foolishness...that comment makes absolutely no sense...I'd certainly hope that people who enjoy a certain band, expects a new album to be good, if not better than the last...I hope that someone who enjoys a certain artist, that they look forward to and expect a great piece of work, if you enjoy going to school that you have high expectations of learning great things...so, whatever to that comment.

Number two, how does someone win in a fight about preferences? I suppose you have hundreds of trophies for your battles in "Whose preference is the right one" Huh?!?
