Actually to be fair it is trolling because you have people who hate the film coming into a thread and trying to cause trouble. I have no issues with anyone who doesn't like the film, however, I have issues with people who spend the majority of their time in a thread of a movie they hate.

But with that said, I am watching it again tonight, because I've had time to really soak everything in and I must say that this one is the best so far.

That is trolling as I said. I have steered clear of this thread to allow the Saw fans to do their thing but voiced my opinion today. But it would be biased and not fair to say that no negative comments can be made in a single thread about one topic and then throw it off as trolling. Just because people in here can post about what they like, it just should be the same to the others. We don't have a Saw forum where there can be good threads and negative threads. Not everyone likes where the franchise is at right now, critics have shown that and fans have also shown that by a diminishing box office and by voicing their concerns.

The problem isn't with negative criticism.
It's just that you fail to make any kind of point or any true reason why you don't like these movies.
You’re just being an ass.

I made my point as to why I am not going to see this movie. It is my opinion and you have yours. The end.

So my friend called wanting to go to the movies tonight, and I'm thinking "Surely you wanna see Saw V." Nope, Max Payne. Ugh. So I'll go see that crap Max Payne later, but I'm catching Saw V at 5:20.:woot:

I just got back from seeing the film so heres my 2second view of it(in spoilers for those who have'nt seen it yet):

Where to begin w/o sounding like I'm rambling on. Lets start with the good, then bad:
I did somewhat enjoy going back and visiting some of the previous traps. I did enjoy the Hoffman aspect of what Jiggs was doing and what Hoffman was doing on his own. For most part did okay with keeping the continuity of all films. The Traps were good, did like the pendilum. The team aspect alllah Saw II,was good overall, the traps were nifty.
The bad,was I thought the story it was slow, and kindof weak imo. Ofcourse they left the Jill Tuck story arc open, and begging the question of whats in the box. I was disappointed that we did'nt know what was written to Amanda, maybe we don't need to. The ending was'nt upto the hype of 'You won't believe how it ends',though it was okay. Im guessin that other agent will have a part in Saw VI.
Overall it was okay, not the strongest movie, but I thought it was onpar with Saw II(which I still think is the weakest link of the series). It just lacked any good punch or twist, but again it was solid. As it stands: Saw,Saw III,Saw IV,Saw II/Saw V

I am going to see it again in about three ours just so I can actually enjoy it this time around and not worry about moronic comments, talking, noises, and so forth.

I actually feel like this is the strongest story and the strongest film of the series. For some reason everything just clicked and flowed just right, and I love the going back and revisiting certain traps/scenarios.

I also believe we're going to see Gordon in the next film. I predict Hoffman is going to stay in the glass box for his test and just as he thinks he got away again, Gordon will show up as the final apprentice or as the hero who ends Jigsaw's legacy for good. Hoffman really wasn't tested at all and I don't count his confrontation with Jigsaw, and he was never in any real danger in the trap with Detective Matthews.

But why do they kill off the more interesting characters? Strahm was a badass and I wish we got more backstory on him. We definitely know he was married since he had a ring.

For those who have seen it I want to discuss the twist.

David Hackl(the director) said he filmed six different endings and they're all going to be on the DVD. We know Strahm is dead so there's no going back with this. I believe the second ending probably has Strahm getting into the glass box and Hoffman dying, as for the rest of them? Who knows. But I really, really liked how Hoffman had that smirk while in the glass box and just watched Strahm get crushed by the walls.

Hahaha, you really believe your own tripe don't you? Critics have NEVER liked these films from the beginning. What's kept the series alive is the fanbase and the fact that these films are cheap to make it makes its budget back on opening day and the weekend.

The sixth will be the final one and you will be able to stop your constant whining about a franchise you hate, yet you spend quite a bit of your time in said thread.

I'm with chaseter all the way these films should be only Saw and Saw only. The sequels are tripe. They try to pass off a lame ass story for more torture porn (the worst genre ever created for horror movies). These movies ceased to be good when they decided they wanted to focus on the ways to kill people more than the story. And that started with the first sequel and only got worse as the series somehow reached part 5.

:hehe: I post in here one day and LS goes psycho:whatever: God forbid he post a negative comment about any movie. He works at a theatre so that makes his opinion correct:up:

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to look up box office figures and see that regardless of the critics fans still see the films and they still make money. I can admit that if the budget was like Spider-Man or the Dark Knight, there's no way these films would be successful still.

But with that said this is a thread for SAW and if you don't like the films or don't plan on seeing them don't come in here. If you've seen SAW 5 then feel free to discuss it, but if you haven't seen it then shut up and go away. The End.

Someone either doesn't like to think or just wants to ***** just to *****.

These are the new Friday the 13ths. Really...

Badass villain, terrible plots, only about the ways to kill people.

Now that Chaseter and Bill are on ignore for their trolling, we can actually have an intelligent dicussion about SAW V.

One of my friends came up with the theory that he believes Brit was in on it too as she was too calm during the entire ordeal.

And that doesn't make the film good:o Epic Movie made it's money back, Disaster Movie will make its money back on dvd. And are those films good:huh:

Anyone else bout **** their pants when Strahm jammed that pen in his neck?

So I saw (heh) the movie, and what can I say? It was Saw V.

Well was it good? Great? Same ol ****? Worth seeing? Someone give a round up with no spoilers

damn, I accidently took a nap and missed the showing. oh well, I guess I'll go tomorrow.

It’s hilarious how this thread stayed relatively quiet until the movie’s release.
Now it seems all the trolls have been inadvertently shaken out of their holes.
:whatever:

Ummm...well that's kind of how it goes though...movie is released - people post and discuss their opinion...

I'd say it was a solid movie. I liked it, and people in my theatre seemed to have liked it.
