because it was a good story. look how many stories have been generated out of linking the two. the twins choice to be heroes is so much more personal now. plus they didn't lose their ties to the x-verse; something essential to the House of M story.

I'm not saying they did not find a way to "make lemonade" out of the situation, but given that we already had a "child" of Magneto story in X-Men it seemed sort of redundant - especially since they had just told their origin a few years before. Also, if I recall correctly, Magneto had been acting rather "un-fatherly" towards Wanda in some issues, so there was that to deal with...

But regardless, Marvel can not use this in the Avengers, so I would prefer the Inhuman angle, but I guess Kevin has said that was not the case...or is it...?

Scarlet Witch is the only reason I might see this. Iron Man 2 turned me off Iron Man.. not a fan of any of the rest.

Captain America - bland
Black Widow - bland
Iron Man - RDJ good, but sequels meh
Villains - meh
Nick Fury - SLJ phoning it in
Hawkeye - bland
Pepper Pots - bland

Good characters are what make a movie, not special effects or cgi.

What would an "official uniform" of an Avenger be, though, really? The Avengers have never had "team colors"; everyone wore their own thing and showed their own individuality. I don't really expect Wanda & Pietro to decide they need some kind of "official" uniforms once they join the team; they'll probably continue to dress the way we see them in the set pix.

I was already a fan of hers before her announcement. I saw Martha Marcy May Marlene more than a couple of years ago and was a fan of hers ever since. It's one of those few times where I'm following someone's filmography and they get huge like this.
