Nah Iron Man should say after he meets her, have you met my friend Jarvis?

Barton might beat her to it.

Please let Tony hit on her at least once, it would be hilarious. Oh and Olsen pulls off the Goth look really well.

EW, no. Two old guys making passes at young women, one of whom is already in a committed relationship (I assume widow and hawkeye broke up). That might have worked in the comics in the 60s but it's creepy as anything now.

She's straight glammed up in this shoot, but if she plays Wanda for a while and gets a new look....

I would rather have Wanda and Hawkeye get together.

Ew? :lmao:

Young women go for older men all the time. Especially when the older guy is hot and rich, like Tony Stark. He'd have a better shot of scoring with a twentysomething woman than than about 90% of twentysomething guys. That's just reality, whether in fiction or in real life.

(Speaking of real life, Renner's gf is in her twenties.)

Having Hawkeye develop feelings for Wanda would be true to the comics, though I doubt it will happen. He always did have a thing for her, which she never reciprocated. There will probably be too much going on for that relationship to develop, as Clint & Natasha have some unfinished business together.

is she hiding behind a newspaper?

Nah, she's trying to read a map. "Dammit, how the hell do you get a train out of Sokovia? Stupid dinosaur tech....where's Google Maps when you need it?"

Nah, I think Widow ends up with Cap and Wanda ends up with Clint.
HawkWitch and CapWidow ftw.

Go watch Oldboy. Ms. Olsen did a lot of than flirt with Josh Brolin in that movie, and he's much older than her. Besides, we still don't know that BW/Hawkeye are a couple for sure.

As mentioned previously, it's more about older guys making letcherous remarks about young women.

As for widow and hawkeye, it was strongly hinted at

I've said before that I hope you're right about Steve & Natasha, but I doubt it. Chris & Scarlett had sizzling chemistry in TWS and it would be a shame to drop that in favor of less inspired pairings. Feige & Co don't seem likely to be swayed by that, however. The only thing that gives me a little hope is that Feige told an interviewer that he'd like to explore Steve's relationship with Sharon at some point. At least he didn't give a definite answer, which leaves a bit of wiggle room.

As for Clint & Wanda, when I was a kid I kinda wished they had gotten together even though I loved Wanda and the Vision as a couple. In the MCU Natasha is much more important to Clint than she was in the 616 universe and they seem likely to continue a complicated relationship in AOU.

I'm not too fussed about the romance to be honest but I would love to see widow and the winter soldier. It's such a romantic affair and I think they really need each other.

As for wanda I want to see her kick ass first but eventually I want to see vision and her start a romance that is very sweet and equal for both of them

It's already confirmed (Empire podcast for Captain America 2 that I linked in the Hawkeye thread) that Clint's and Natasha's relationship will be "made very clear" in AOU, in whatever way that will be. Any way the focus will still be on them.

While that is nice she looks like a prostitute. I'm glad they went away from that for AOA.

And this is why not everything translates to live action. You put Olsen in something like that and every prepubescent boy in the theatre will be constantly leaving to "use the bathroom."

I'm surprised she's not wearing a red hair band, that would at least be a nod to that thing she wears around her head in the comics.

I thought they would go for the hairband as well but oh well, it's not the final costume and she just looks so cool

Wow, who ever thought they could actually take that look and make it look good? Great job done.
