I'd have no problem shipping the two together either.lol

If Elizabeth wasn't playing Scarlet Witch and Emily wasn't playing Sharon Carter, with the latter character being portrayed as a MAJOR character (Black Widow Level) within the MCU, then I would have loved seeing Olsen play that role.

What the **** is with people and "shipping." It's these bizarre fantasies and constant need for fictional characters to be ****ing each other. Vision and Wanda was a thing in the comics so if it happens in the films, fine. Otherwise I don't give a rats ass about the relationship status of a single fictional superhero character in a big budget action movie.

All I care about is the romantic chemistry. I have to believe in the romance and that these characters have a real connection. One of the problems I had with this film was that I didn't buy the Widow/Banner relationship. Widow and Cap were a better fit together in TWS than Widow and Banner here, and that relationship wasn't even strictly romantic.

A big problem though is that often can't see what works until it is filmed. You can't very well see chemistry between the actors in a script.

I love Ronan and would've most likely liked her as SW too but yeah, Olsen is fantastic. She's one of my favorite things in the movie. I can't wait to see more of her. I'm so glad we saw her all suited up in the end.

Now that she's on people's radar, IMO, it's only a matter of time before she gets some awards recognition. She was amazing in Martha Marcy May Marlene.

I was hoping the same back then. I really thought it would do for her what Winter's Bone did to Jennifer Lawrence. In a way, it kinda did, just minus the Oscar nod. She has the chops and is now way more popular than before so with the right project, she can definitely get an Oscar nod in the future.

The BW and Bruce romance was very poorly done and provided nothing for the film; it was kind of just there in the script and served little real purpose.

BW and Rogers in TWS, now that worked! Regardless of if it was intended as romance or not, it still worked
