put it this way showtime "some sets" remain in top condition trust me on that:word:

I didn't say what kind of condition the set was in Milky Way, I said that they took it down.

ohhhhhhhhh the good memories. ultra detailed sets that were used for 4 minutes. and then destroyed.
you have to love Guy Dyas and WB.

Actually, it's Steve and some writers writing the scripts. They even say that they have a CGI artist doing a model of Doomsday so they'll know what he'll look like in live action, or something like that.

Didn't they try to stop the Dragonball movie the same way?

jeez that was funny must of taken u a while to think of that nuffy

Didn't even take me a second, that is the beauty of it.

In regards to the set, I believe your point is that the set is in storage, which nobody here was disputing.

To add on to that, the big question is, if that set is indeed going to be used then where are they shipping it off to?

The only pitch they should be giving is why they should not be put in the mental institution. I can't believe people actually listen to that. They have no previous movies under their belt or anything for that matter. What, they watched smallville and read a comic book and now they can save the franchise that doesn't need saving. Well that gave me a good laugh, maybe I will go pitch a nightwing tv series because I have drawn a few pictures and have an amazing idea (see everyone can say it).

Humorous it is, no doubt about that.

It's funny but sad at the same time.

Sometimes fans get so invested in these characters that they lose any sense of perspective. That seems to be what's happened here.

Those fans "need" to get a life. It's fun to talk about what you would do but being serious about it is another matter entirely.

Interesting to hear about what Lee say. And I don't remeber he was producer on SR. I thought it was Jon Peters (in name only, of course) & Singer. But it seem like we will get more news on this soon.

And guys, never trust Emi. She just make up some lies & she is a hardcore Welling's fan. Remeber the so-call news she made back in Nov. that Welling has supposely signed a deal or was close to on playing Supes in JLA film? She also mention that she & supposely many fans who hang around SaveSuperman.com will be attending San Diego Comic Con. She act like they will make WB change their mind. :funny: :funny:

Was just thinking.... the sequel(if it gets made) will have to contend with 2010 World Cup just like it did in 2006. Which might mean another situation where they release it weeks later in international territories.

It's not that common for a film get a "day and date" release (i.e. being released literally everywhere on a specific date!) So, WB wanting to put Superman Returns and the forthcoming sequel Man of Steel out on different dates isn't anything to worry about.

That said, we're probably looking at a mid-late July release when it hits in 2010 - not unlike The Dark Knight's release...

you got tp be f... kidding me. i had to wait weeks for SR to come out where i live. and only because of the world cup. dont do this again WB.

It got released on September 7th here. At least I got to go to London and saw it there. I even went to the premiere.

But anyway. It needs a worldwide release date.

She needs to put some of that energy into something else. Again it's fun to complain on a message board but taking this too seriously is silly. Sometimes I'm guilty of that, but at the end of the day I'm not going to die if I never see LexCorp Luthor, or a spunky adult Lois Lane or a huge Superman vs. Superpowered villian battle. WB can keep making Singer sequels and I can keep avoiding them and watching the Timm/Dini version on DVD.

If I could speculate on a release date I would say Mid To Late July.

All I have to say is that releasing SR within a WEEK of the Pirates 2 film was an IDIOTIC move.

SR lovers always try to find an excuse on why the movie FAILED and was A DISAPPOINTMENT not only to fans but to the GA. A 53rd opening week for the 2nd most well known popular culture icon of all time is ridiculous to say the least.

You can't deny that releasing a non heavy action oriented Superman film within a WEEK of a HIGHLY anticipated Pirates sequel with someone named JOHNNY DEPP in the lead as one of the greatest pirate characters ever was lets just say...an ill advised move to say the least. You can't deny it....just like I can't deny that making a Superman movie without having a big time action/fight scene(s) or sequence(s) with a villain we haven't seen before onscreen was a mistake.

As ridiculous as "Haters" having to chime in after every "Lovers" comments?
