The little devil on my shoulder would probably have liked that but then I would have regretted it and left the forums pissed off yet again. So at the end of the day I'm still happy that I wasn't here.

They would still use costumes from the previous films. Bale tested for Batman in Kilmer's suit. If Smallville can get the SR suit on loan I'd say it's pretty safe to assume they'll use that or one of the previous attempts' suits. If this were the first film in the franchise, maybe. But in this case the McG, Ratner, Burton and SR suits do exist somewhere in the WB backlot, and I sincerely doubt they wouldn't use them for casting in a role of this magnitude for the studio.

Yeah, even Christopher Reeve tested for Superman in a variation of George Reeves's suit(the actual suit would have been too small because Reeve was a full four inches taller tha Reeves).

Personally I think both forums lack professionalism. There is an attitude of "we are better than them". Both sides are also guilty of posting things without providing proof at times.

What forums are you talking about? We're talking about some of the articles that are posted as news on **************.

So imo this casting should really be down to cavill, hammer and a couple of really solid unknowns, hell joe m has been keeping quiet lately so he could be in the final shortlist. That wouldnt be a bad shortlist, im hoping to see something like that.

I just saw Hammer in The Social Network and I could support him if he got the role. Then again I could support Hedlund as well. Between the two I would go with the Tron guy but Hammer is a good actor and fits Superman far more then he would have fit Batman in the JLA film.

Loved the Social Network film by the way . The other hero, Andrew Garfield, did a great job as well.

Yeah Hammer is alright, he still hasnt won me over, i think its a mixture of his face and the fact i think he might be a little overrated but we'll see. I still think TSN is gonna end up putting Hammer on that shortlist though. I would mind if they dont go with Cavill or Hammer anymore although Cavill is still my top choice. Hopefully they've found a couple of solid unknowns by know. Do you guys think we'll be seeing a shortlist soon? Or instead of a shortlist we'd have to wait longer for just a official casting decision.
