Then you need to see Armie in "Billy" and you'll see an actor with incredible range and charisma.

There's soething , the voice, the look, the easy charm, There's something in Amrie, when he's interviewed that I don't see in Joe. A comfortable feeling that just screams "Superman" to me.

Either of these guys would be a good choice.

Hammer looks like a mix of John Krasinski and Elijah Wood. Doesn't really add up to Superman.

Wtih regards to Joe looking sinister, someone made a good point there that it's only really when he's called to pose looking 'tough' for certain photos.

And the constant beard and slick hair doesn't help with the thuggish look, but he's gotta keep his look like that for True Blood.

Give him short hair and some better poses and he looks like a different guy. Also, to me, the nose is really noticeable when he's looking straight on at the camera - which rarely happens in a movie. Watching him in motion on TV, you'd rarely notice his nose.

And just to emphasise Joe's size again, here he is beside Triple H, who's a pretty big guy.

This. Joe is darker material. With more weight he looks like a clone of TAS Batman. This would be like casting a 6'5 DJ Cotrona style Superman.

Armie has a good voice, but to me, his face looks like he was 12 years old last year before hitting a massive growth spurt. There is nothing Supermanly about it.

At least Joe looks like a grown up.

That said, I think Warners needs to keep looking.

I still think Armie Hammer is going to get this or at least be offered the role. Joe Mags could surprise a few people. He played a very CK like role in this short lived sitcom. I wish I had the whole episode to show you he could pull it off. But here is the trailer to give you an idea.

Try as I might I'm just not down with Joe, I can't picture him as a convincing Clark, he'd be but a slightly sinister, bro-ish Superman.

I think we should keep a real close eye on Zack Levi! There maybe a reason he denied that rumor. He is now aggressively looking to make the move to leading man roles. He just changed agencies for that exact purpose.Though I think the role is Hammer's to lose unless he doesn't like the offer.Zack might make a good Reed Richards in FF reboot.

Just to give you an idea what Zack Levi would look like as Supes and CK here are a few pics to do as manips. Also don't forget he was Fandrel in Thor but had to b/o because of Chuck. I would but a bet on him at least getting a screen test.

If he was raised by the Brady family rather than Ma and Pa Kent it might work.

Otherwise a Greg Brady look alike really ain't gonna cut it.

But seriously, I already have my reservations about this film due to Snyder being chosen and if Joe was chosen for the role I wouldn't have much excitment about the film at all.

Wow, this Joe guy is a really bad choice, imo. He looks nothing like Clark Kent to me.

I compare Brandon as Supes to him and no, he doesn't cut it, he's just not likeable enough either. He totally has the wrong presence, imo. Joe's nose is very distracting, ugh.
