Nice chest, but don't like the looks of John Allen Nelson for Supes - looks like another Wilson brother. Strikes me as kind of whiny in these pix - preppy and boring. No clue who he is, I must say. Please post links to convince me otherwise.

Also like the J/K "Ian McKellen as Ma Kent". What a hoot that pic is! Would need to get Robin Williams in this one too.

Yeeeeeeeeeees...Jessica does have the greatest ass a white girl ever had. And Garner is just scrumptious. Either of them would make a nice Lois, however, I think I'd go with Biel cause she has more edge.

Honestly, I thought the cast for SR was fine, with the exception of Lois Lane. I'd have loved to see Hugh Laurie's Perry White, and Billy Zane as Lex, though.

Hi all, I'm gonna start researching and writing a Superman reboot script, and I'd like as many of you as are interested to contribute your ideas, suggestions, and CONSTRUCTIVE criticisms. I'd also like someone with a strong visual imagination to help me describe locations, as I'm not even any good at deciding what I think a place should look like, let alone at describing it. Henry Cavill IS virtually unknown.
Billy Zane is a hopeless actor.
Caviezel would want more to play Superman, not Jor-El.
Kate Beckinsale is a hopeless actress. I've seen mouldy cheese show more emotion.
Glenn Close is a fine choice, but is far too old if Quaid were to play Jonathan. Don't think he'd be quite right for the part anyway.
Martin Sheen I see as a far more dramatic actor than someone who'd easily handle humour. He'd be better as Jonathan, if he wasn't too old.

If you are truly writing a real script and doing a reboot, first off, you can't use a cast. That is not the writers job. You can use real actors to write the characters, but all you are here to do is write the script.

My question is, if you are going to write a script, why don't you write something original and try to make something of it. If you are going to put all the time and effort in.
