What they had shouldn't have been the ending. It is really ashame that HBO did a rare cancelation to one of its best shows.

Vosloo is a good choice.

i just cant see Spacey not returning for the role. there's a contract on this. it ususally takes big big money to get an actor out of a contract.

I am so with you on that one. I saw him on 24 and he was phenomenal as a villian.

spacey is very old. i know that lex is older visual then superman. but still he is to old. he cna also not do stunts.

spacey is obvious to old for me. i thought that since singer casted him hes lex will be the ultimate lex luthor of all time . i thought thats the reason why he casted such an old man. but lex was nothing special

He'll probably only return if MOS is made. I don't think I've seen lex mentioned as a villain in JL. I wonder if Lois is in the JL script and would Bosworth return?

Love Michael Rosenblum. I think with the limitations of the show he has done a fantastic job. So he would be my first choice.

I agree. I was like WTF?? when I found out that was the end of it. a shame really.

The sad part is, it didn't have to end that way. The show could pull in a million viewers a week and HBO wouldn't have canceled it if the producers weren't so stubborn about the budget. HBO doesn't cancel anything, after all. All they had to do is cut the budget down below 2 million an episode and it could've gone on. Its ashame they didn't

That would be true for Routh or Bosworth, but Spacey is a well known enough actor with a good enough agent that he no doubt has several outs in his contract. At the very least he will have a clause to limit the days he can film so it isn't even worth it for Warners to pay to use him. Make no mistake about it, if SInger is out, chances are SPacey is too.

You know, I don't think I've ever heard anyone mention this guy for Lex. If he's the guy I'm thinking of (from the Patriot) I think he'd make a terrific villian!
