They definitely share a resemblance I think, which is kind of a cool thing for fans of the now defunct Smallville show.

see... I don't see a resemblance at all between them normally. Definitely not in the same way Routh resembled Reeve, or even just in a passing sense. It's kinda like my feelings on the suit itself. It only looks good when the light is hitting it just right

Interesting. I see a resemblance between them in some shots -- not all the time though. And I might be in the minority here, but I don't think Routh looks like Reeve at all. I never got the comparison. Reeve had very thin facial features and was kind of distinctive looking.

Routh looks more like Jimmy Fallon to me.

That heat vision manip is the only time I ever really thought one Superman actor looked like another. I guess people claiming one actor looking like another shows how much they all "looked like Superman".

I think it's the cheekbones that help in that particular pic.

This is just an incredible suit. Looks stunning. Everytime I look at the 52 suit, I shake my head in disaproval. Why couldn't they have just done this for the comics?

This looks great. I agree, this should be on our pages in the comics. Jim Lee and Kenneth Rocafort would have made the MOS suit look beautiful on paper.

I'm sorry, but when have you seen Clark take his glasses off, then his clothes, fold those clothes, put his glasses on stack of folded clothes and then find some place to hide them? Remember the Fleischer cartoons where he would step into a phone booth, and all of his Clark clothes would just disappear? What about Superman 4 (not talking about the whole movie, just this one part) when Clark steps into a photo booth and comes out as Superman. What about in Superman Returns when he rips his clothes off in the elevator shaft? His clothes just fell down the shaft and could have landed back in the elevator. What about the alley where he did his shirt rip? What happened to his clothes there? Clark's clothes magically disappearing has been a part of Superman for years. Now if your'e going to bash Smallville, bash it like everyone else that didn't like the show would have.

Rewatch all off those. It's just so silly!
