It's a good drawing, but did you purposely make his body alien-like? It doesn't have the proportions of a normal human body, looks more like Golum from LOTR.Alright tweak it just a little bit

Thank you very much Dr.Who and DCW, Dr.Who you wrote very decent comment. It sounds like you took some art history classes eh? I really didn't think about Van Gough, but I definitely like coloring my pieces, it is very fun. Hopefully some of the old artists from the dark knight days will start posting soon!

LOL Nah, just know the artists; however throughout my elementary years I learned a little of this and that in art class, which covered pretty much everything to important artists in history, styles, etc. The proportions of the body is what made me think Van Goph, as well as the articulate coloring and shading; colors, shading, and lighting are probably the key things that really stand out in your picture.
It's hard for me to honestly critique your work having that I've kind of established your style by looking at this piece; if you have any other artwork, please post away. I'd love to see what else you have. Um..... if you're looking for a critique however, I'd say take a little more creative license. I don't think you would feel so restricted to base it off what you've seen so far of Bane; I think if you made another piece similar to this with perhaps a different stance/position and shows his neck, arms, and torso a bit more it would look more promising (I'd look up pictures of Tom Hardy himself in other movies that might show some Bane quality). And that's what I've honestly seen from your work so far, it's promising and could be some of the strongest stuff we can see on the Hype.
So think about what I've said, maybe make another Bane or even Catwoman piece if you're good with female anatomy, take more initiative to have more freedom with your work, do a little research that could help inspire what you want in your art, and I think you'll be set to go man.![]()
