You seem to think I'm concerned about what was left out. I could care less about things in particular being left out, as long as what's there accounts for a good film. For me, it really has to do with the cleverness. Hermione and the Time-Turner, for example. I don't think much thought was put into making that all work out. The only thing I truely agree with you on is the scoring. While I did enjoy Patrick Doyle's score, he just isn't the same as John Williams. And Cuarón's direction sort of went into a gothic-like style, which is why I think Hot Topic has a merchandise deal with WB to license products.

But I surely did enjoy the film, to some extent. The beginning, and when Harry conjures up the Patronus at the end, those are absolutely great. Some of my favorite bits. But Newell's vision matches my own a good deal. So that's why I want him back. I just hope Yates doesn't destory my vision of OotP, because that's my favorite right now. Can't wait to see Alan Rickman's expression after pulling Harry out of the Pensieve.

I could manly handshake you. That's exactly how I feel on a purely emotional level. forget details, forget what was broken about the film or whatever. Everything in Gof seemed like it was all a projection of what I imagined as I read the novel. Every frame was nearly a perfect match of my dreams... It sounds corny, I know, but it's true. I hope they do as well with the next film.

Harry's hair looks horrible short. I hope the Grawp scenes aren't too long...that chapter was so boring (so was Hagrid's Tale...the filler chapter).

7 books and this one should be better than the last one. It is my favorite because Harry is a little darker and it is such a downer. (In a good way i.e. Empire Strikes Back)
